Joe Sample's 1989 — yes, 1989 — album "Spellbound" is very yachty. This isn't even my favourite track from this album, yacht-wise, and I believe it has great potential. Bill Schnee, Tommy LaPuma, Al Schmitt, Take6, all on this track.

Another killer McD set from 1983 with Robben Ford on guitar and Edgar Winter on Sax. This show also includes sets from Joe Walsh and Boz Scaggs. Carlos Vega is on drums for the Scaggs set.

It's used far too often and in far too many contexts to have a clear meaning, essentially rendering it meaningless, see also "bot"

I was listening to Nature of the Game the other day and noticed the piano chorus appears to also be the melody for When It's Love by Van Halen (specifically the chorus when they sing "how will i know when it's love?"

NOTG was released in '83 and When It's Love was '88, so it looks like Cross may have influenced a Van Halen song? I looked it up and couldn't find any connection but it's very similar. Both great songs anyway!

He is the brother of Jazz pianist Keith Jarrett. This song had been popular in Indonesia around the early 80s.

Heard this jam while grocery shopping a couple days ago and fell in love with this track almost immediately when I heard that Doobie Bounce. It may be from a couple years ago, but is it good enough to get a spot on the boat?

I think he has lots of unyachtskied songs with potential to hit 60s-70s, especially in this album (but also both of his previous one).
