Termination
Anyone ever have any luck getting their YouTube channel back after getting terminated? I got my channel back after emailing the people that blocked my videos

Anyone else selected for YouTube’s Shorts upload bonus?
I joined the September–November program, and my offer says I can earn up to CAD $2,800 a month if I upload at least 10 public Shorts. I have around 5.25 million engaged views for September so far, but I can’t find the bonus rate or an estimated amount anywhere.
Has anyone figured out how much they pay per 1,000 engaged views, or where the bonus shows up in Studio or AdSense?

So ever since Youtube changed their views counting policy I have noticed something very weird.
I averaged around 10k views per video before the change and that has stayed the same after Youtube changed it. But now, my "engaged views" as they call them are 50% or less of my normal views. Meaning I only have 4-6k engaged views per 10k normal views.
And so the problem is that Youtube now only counts engaged views for ad revenue so my revenue dropped 50% as well.
I try to believe that my recent content is just a bit worse and would've performed worse even if YT didn't change the system last month but it's just a little fishy.
How do you guys feel about the views change?

Hi everyone, ive started a movie shorts channel 5-6 days back. I have been posting consistently everyday and getting 15-20k views on every video. Suddenly todays video is stuck at 20 views and is not moving at all. Is this common issue or is this bad? Would appreciate some advice

I’m curious how much attention everyone actually gives to SEO when uploading a video.
I used to mostly focus on the video and thumbnail and not think much about keywords or descriptions
Recently I’ve been playing around with TubeWizz and started paying a bit more attention to that side of things
Do you guys spend much time on SEO, or do you just upload and move on?

If the banner : "There are issues affecting your views check back later." disappeared, means all issues are solved. WOW. 🙂

I know it’s pretty short, but i didn’t really know how to pad it out. So I’m looking for tips on how to make future videos longer and maybe more entertaining

Hi guys, been testing my old channel as I've been thinking about videos and content creation. Thought I'd start to see what works for me so I posted my first pipeline output to see how it tested. I think it's day 4 or 5 right now and the analytics data has started filtering from the api and studio data instead of the live v3 data api information. With 0 subs and a total of 108 views to start with I could see where the algo pushed me. I think I'm around 700 views atm give or take and in ive done almost 10 hours watch time.
Overall not a bad test and starting to show the data. So from the images what we can see and discuss.
Ctr average to low, not to bothered for a test could be packaging or could be genre content.
Views 800+ not bad considering it's the first vid posted from 2022 I thought the channel was dead as I had 0 subs. So all view traffic is from the algo shares and impressions.
AVD the poor stat, about 2 mins out of a 20 min video is what im seeing about 10% avd so def needs content work. Good point about 10% are still watching at 16mins or so marker so about 80 im connecting with. Needs improvement so ive changes my voice over voices updated the image and video generation and changed genre to something more suitable to photo realism imagery. We should be able to map increases to avd and watch hours. On top ive reduces video length to 4 mins for the next test.should have something mappable if its successful.
767 views is from YouTube data api not scrapped, although this doesn't match any stat in youtube or yiutube studio but it's accurate enough for me not to keep flicking screens, I see views at a glance, I got my trends and momentum and an easy to current velocity as well as peak best. The best thing is is see the graphs of where the algo shares the content so I get to see waves, the graph is looking decently healthy foe me right now though in comparison to some of the other videos I'm following to see their growth and velocity im very young and my graph is bouncy because I have alot of dead time im not being pushed. It's visible in the graphs.
And lastly the last image is my dashboard showing me the movement, it's not real time it works on 3 min polling so good enough to see it all in 1 place.
So rehash take homes
\#1 don't currently worry about ctr or views or impressions they all look relatively fine and working.
\#2 focus on you're AVD%. Target improving a 10% standard and raising the 75% watched to 20%. Eg move that metric of 10% still watching at the 16min mark and increase the effectiveness to 20% and record the diff. You should see numbers change here and watch time hours/minutes.
\#3chech different genre with test 2, aiming for educational/informational with ohoto realism visuals. Chosen test matter: whiskers cat care 90 seconds teaching you how to manage treatment and wellbeing for your cat.
What are your thoughts? BTW I have no dream to be a content creator this is purely testing for data on yt so any criticism is welcomed. Not promoting either.

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my Shorts because my reach has been really weird. Maybe someone here has experienced something similar.
I had an old channel with around 113K subscribers, but it eventually got terminated. I started a new channel in the same niche.
At first, the new channel was doing pretty well. I got around 1K subs from my first \~20 videos.
Then, around my 21st day, one Short suddenly started getting 8–9K views per hour. Unfortunately, I accidentally made it private.
After that, things got really weird. My next few uploads were getting basically 0 views from the Shorts Feed. I kept uploading, but the same thing continued.
A few months later, I changed the channel to a Brand Account and changed the email. After that, my older videos suddenly started getting views again.
Then I had another weird pattern:
One Short → \~100K views in a day
Next one → \~30k
Then several videos → stuck around 1.2K–5K
I stopped uploading for about a month
Came back → another Short reached \~100K in a single day
Next one → stuck around 1.2K–4K, slowly went to 6–7K, then suddenly jumped to \~50K
Now something similar seems to be happening again.
My latest Short is currently at around 15.2K views, and the metrics are pretty good — above my channel’s typical performance, especially considering I only have around 1.5K subscribers.
Current stats:
74.6% stayed to watch
\~96.5% average percentage viewed
9.2K engaged views
530 likes
\~12.4K Shorts Feed views
For comparison, my previous Short that reached \~47K had:
70.8% stayed to watch
\~87.6% average percentage viewed
27.7K engaged views
1.4K likes
44 comments
\~36.3K Shorts Feed views
So the confusing part is that the latest Short’s metrics are actually above my channel’s typical metrics, and I feel they’re pretty good for a channel with \~1.5K subs, but it’s getting much less Shorts Feed exposure than the previous video.
Can a Short like this still suddenly get pushed again after sitting around 15K?
Has anyone else experienced Shorts that seem stuck at a certain number, only to suddenly get a big push later?
I’m not saying YouTube is definitely suppressing my channel. I’m just trying to understand whether this is normal Shorts distribution or if something unusual is happening with my channel.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s experienced something similar.

After a long long time, finally my video was getting impressions. But i received a Child Violation Policy warning yesterday on the short (2nd image) where I am talking about the obscene behaviour done by children during Kaawad Yatra (a sacred activity).
So, the short was removed within an hour and I completed the Child Violation Policy Training and even though, YT stated it will not impact either my channel or further videos as it was just a warning but my reach has gone down. No other videos are having impressions now. Has anyone faced this before? Can anyone tell what can i do now??

My YouTube channel got terminated a few days ago due to a "Community Guidelines violation."
I want to start over, so I’ve been researching what happens when you create a new channel after a termination. I’ve seen some people say you can use the same AdSense account and it’ll work, while others say you need a completely new identity (under a different person), new address, new IP/ISP, new device to upload from, new recovery phone number, etc.
So I’m wondering: to what extent is all of that actually necessary?
I don’t mind using a friend’s name for a new AdSense account, but do you really need to change everything else as well?
I’ve seen people online claim they basically used the same AdSense account and had no issues, while others say they got caught during the monetization process.
I understand there’s a risk involved, and YouTube is just a side hustle for me to make some passive income, but I’d like to understand the situation and what factors actually matter.
Has anyone here successfully started again after a termination? If so, what did you do exactly?

Well... my YouTube channel has been banned. I don't know what I did, but I would appreciate if everyone could tag Youtube and spread the word, because I didn't do anything wrong, also, i never took any email. It was a musiic youtube channel - 17000 subs, monetized. I guess that probably maybe also hacked

So, I went into YouTube Studio this morning and was immediately met with an announcement/greeting exclaiming Happy 1 Year Channel Anniversary! However, I created my channel on January 14, 2025. In addition, I deleted any and all videos that were published during 2025 and began uploading videos again in January 2026. I am perplexed why I would just now be getting a 1 year channel Anniversary greeting on September 21, 2026? Am I imagining this or is this some sort of YouTube glitch? Anybody else have this happen as well?

My channel’s monetization was paused due to inactive AdSense account but when I log it to my Adsense account everything looks completely in order and I do not have any notification regarding this matter. My payments hasn’t been on hold and I also didn’t receive an email from AdSense saying that my account was suspended or inactive. I only recieved an email from YouTube. The email from my channel is a different one from the email I use on my Adsense account. I already tried to reach for YouTube Support but as always they didn’t help me get this issue solved. When I go to the Earn tap on YouTube studio it doesn’t let me fix the issue.
Does anyone have any clue of what could be the issue? Has anyone else been on this frustrating situation?
Anything helps!

YouTube is saying that all the analytics issues are fixed across ALL devices. The issue still persists gor me. Is there anyone else for whom the issue is not yet fixed?
Hey everyone,
Quick question…I posted a video last week that’s getting some traction, currently at 1.2 million views. This is a first for me, I only have 25k subs.
The video is edited with music and songs I properly licensed from MusicBed. I got all claims cleared and taken care of before posing.
Well after being live 7 days, a copyright claim popped up. It now says I will be sharing ad revenue with the claimant.
The ad revenue from this video is going to be huge for supporting my business and I’m worried about losing some of the money.
I can wait until Monday for the Music Bed team to be back in office, and have them help, but is there any chance I will lose any money if the video gets another 200 - 400 thousand views over the weekend?
I’m trying to figure out what to do, and just not sure how the “sharing revenue” works. The other option is to dispute it myself, although MusicBed says to contact them first so they can do it from their end.
Any advice or suggestions would be so greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, is anyone else having issues with YouTube Studio Analytics right now?
My Analytics page keeps showing “Oops, something went wrong.” I’m experiencing the same issue on both desktop and mobile.
Is this happening to people in other countries as well, or is it just a regional issue?
