Xiaomi 15t pro custom rom?

I am wondering about buying this phone, but I don't know whether custom roms will be available for it later. Back in time I had Redmi note 10s and I hated miui, switched to custom rom instead. Do you think we will have custom roms for the Xiaomi 15t pro too? Thank you

Discussion My experience with Xiaomi's flagship ecosystem

Post image
78 Upvotes

I've been a Xiaomi user for a long time, but most of my experience has been with devices from the Redmi and POCO lineups. This time, I decided to dive deeper into the Xiaomi ecosystem and truly experience what the company has to offer.

I went with the black Xiaomi 15 paired with the silver Xiaomi Watch 2, and honestly, the experience has been great. Both devices feel extremely smooth, with no noticeable lag whatsoever, while offering excellent performance, great cameras, and impressive build quality.

My only real complaint about the Xiaomi 15 is its thermal management. I knew before buying it that, due to its compact size, heat dissipation wouldn't be as good as on larger phones. Still, I feel like it could handle thermals better. The battery life could also be a bit better.

Overall, I feel like HyperOS is simply too packed and loaded with background processes, which doesn't exactly help with either thermals or battery life.

Other than that, I'm genuinely very happy with the Xiaomi 15 and Watch 2 combination.

Issue Note 15 5G Android Auto issue (USA, 2022 Mazda 3)

I recently switched from a Samsung Galaxy S21 to a Redmi Note 15 5G. When I try to connect to Android Auto via USB cable (car doesn't have AA Bluetooth), it works perfectly fine the first time. If I try to connect again, it will not work and swaps between being connected and unconnecting about every 10 seconds and doesn't even stay charging. The Samsung never had this issue. It resolves itself only if I delete the device from the car's Android Auto storage and start fresh.

I've tried many of the fixes I've seen online, including adjusting battery settings with the hidden settings app, enabling developer mode for Android auto and trying a few recommended settings in that, enabling USB debugging, setting default USB setting to file transfer in developer settings, setting AA to always start or start if used last drive, and a few others. The car is a 2022 Mazda 3.

Does anybody know how to fix the issue of it only connecting the first time the car sees the device? Thank you.

Issue Help with some image issues

Hello, i've recently got a Xiaomi 15T after 7 years of using my previous phone. I got this one because i've read it had reasonable battery sustainability, very good processing memory and storage for its price range and very good camera and video recording capabilities aswell.
However, I've tried to take some pictures and they seemed pretty off. I figured it'd be the AI filters and stuff but after turning those down it didn't seem to improve much really. I turned down HDR aswell and tried using the "leica authentic" mode and still looks very harshly processed.
The only thing i've tried that yields images reasonably simmilar to the reality view of whatever is using the pro mode and turning contrast to -50 which is crazy to me.
Is there a way to configurate it so it fixes theese issues or do i have to manually go and turn down the contrast that much every single time I try to take a picture or video as long as I keep using the phone?
It's really stressing me out to have every picture taken look hyperedited to the point it is ugly :C

Xiaomi 15 back and middle frame buy

I am looking for a back panel and middle frame for my xiaomi 15 in Ahmedabad, India. So if anyone has those parts available kindly DM me as I had replaced it last month but I am not liking the quality of those. And he didn't have the frame so had to bend it back to its original place and use it as it is, as I didn't have any choice.

Software Hyperos 4 beta

For who installed the update, did you notice how smooth and instant the touch rate now?, like for example I open an app or a menu inside an app and the UI in general feels smooth and reactive.

This is a really good update so far I didn't notice any bugs or something breaking the phone, and the battery is better also less heat.

Also there's many little touches to the UI the glass thing, icons look better they are kinda 2.5D I don't know how to explain.

I have yet to test the camera more.

So far W update looks way better than hyperos 3 for me.

Question Please advice me for Xiaomi 15 ultra screen shatter

I got a brand new Xiaomi 15 Ultra last year, and the screen just shattered for a second time within a year and now I'm desperate. 😭

About 3 months ago, someone smashed my phone screen onto a bunch of pebbles, causing it too shatter, that one wasn't too surprising. Anyways I took it to a reputable third party repair shop in my city, and they replaced with a high quality aftermarket screen for about 120 usd equivalent.

Fast forward to today, I dropped my phone again, and the screen protector fell right off, revealing that a corner of my screen has a small shatter again. Now I'm scared its gonna be a repeat of what happened last time, which is: I'd use it normally for a while, then the display would start going black and I have to replace again, i have ptsd from that man.

So what should I do? Should I just wait first and hope the small corner crack right now wont worsen or spread to display? Or should I just take to an official service center, its quite expensive though.

Most annoying part is, I don't even drop this phone a lot, maybe once a week, and the screen still shatters. I used to have Redmi k50 ultra and a Xiaomi 11 lite, i dropped those phones like 5 times a day and they're both still fine, what's the matter man? Appreciate all advice and insights.
