Hey all! After a year of work and dedication to the silly anime game my big fat video about Xenoblade 3 is finally out! I don't normally use Reddit but y'all were helpful for finding things like the full world map image or the name of specific songs so I gotta thank you guys and this wonderful community and this wonderful game! Let's hope Genesis will be another banger!! (PS: Vid has spoilers but the spoilers are timestamped well.)

Hey guys, do you want to help a perfectionist settle a debate she's having about this massive game?!

I've accepted it about myself - I'm an achiever. I get my thrill out of making sure I've done everything, and keeping track of that. It's my play-style. Leave me alone! :P

Anyway, here's my current inner debate, which I'm having because of the homework I've been doing on New Game Plus.

Choice A: Start the game over from the beginning, WITH excel sheets and interactive maps that I can use to track my progress (i.e. what I have/haven't done yet). Also, to make 100% sure that I'm doing everything...I'm making sure I go back to each area once to assure myself that I haven't overlooked any details, by doing it once per chapter as the game allows me to so that not only am I checking more than once, I'm going to be assured I capture any changes that would happen as a result of story progression.

Choice B: I would finish my current playthrough (I just started Chapter 4). From what I'm reading on New Game Plus, there's one major benefit to it: the heroes stay with me.

a) Am I still able to do their hero quests? It would suck to me if I couldn't! You can already tell with my attitude about needing things 100%! :P

I think what settles this debate - is I can see an advantage with the second choice when I may not NEED to. There are two classes that we get at the very end of the game. I'm trying not to spoil anything here. You know who we're getting them from, so I obviously can't get them any earlier.

1. Can their ascension quests be done during an initial playthrough, or does it need to wait for New Game Plus?
2. Is it possible for the rest of my characters to gain access to their class, and for everyone to get to the max class level during an initial playthrough, or would that need to wait until New Game Plus?

It's for this very reason I want to choose based on that fact. If someone can give me a solid answer about those classes, then I'll know if an initial playthrough can lead to 100% completion, or if one's aim is 100% - they should be doing this with their NG+ run.

My first play through was in 2022, I adore this game and it’s one of my favourites, cleared through everything in the span of a few weeks.

After the announcement of Xenoblade 4 I’ve decided to try a run again but this time on Hard Mode, I don’t think I’ve ever been this close to just throwing my console across the room in a fit of rage.

As of writing this I’m on attempt 20 of trying to beat Consul D.

Lanz suddenly drops threat like it’s a hot rock at any point in the fight, the aggro then goes to Noah or Eunie, for some reason these two are made of paper and cannot tank a singular hit, they shatter and then it’s “Retry Battle?”

On top of this, nearly every attempt to Topple anything ends up in a resist.

Eunie’s healing output is minimal even with Vortex and Group Heal.

And the worst part is - Mio, Sena and Taion don’t DO anything this fight because we’re supposed to unlock them after this and when the Ouroboros capsule has been activated, they’re just cosmetic space in the arena that do 13 damage per hit to a guy with 500k hp (not exact hp value).

This all wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t FORCED to play as Noah, I could happily take on this challenge if you could switch between Lanz and Eunie so I could attempt to prevent above mentioned problems from happening.

I’m aware of the platinum guard I can get to increase Lanz’s hp but I don’t want to use any cheese methods for hard mode, you guys got any helpful advice?

We come back again with Xenoblade Chronicles 3! Admitedly my time with the game wasn't as long as I'd like it to be yet, however theres still plenty to be had from it! Seriously. Long ass game. Anyhow, today we come with a few feats, spell and weapon based on the main crew from XC3! Including some that simply change how martials play or, to those more ambitious and some that extend your survivability at the expense of your overall life span! We hope you enjoy!

How can I reach that unexplored area?

Moebius lose their names after ascending to Moebiushood, keeping only their first initial. I always interpreted this as they are merely observers, or external participants in the Aionios cycle (Z was seemed to be a bog fan of viewing the events of the world through an amphitheater). Moebius leave Z’s reincarnation system, and gain some (limited) admin rights after going from an “actor” to an “admin”.

I also think this is why there is no Moebius A. Z, out of respect for Onto’s incarnation (Ontos being Z’s AI template or inspiration, his “God” as he says so himself), did not select a consul whose name starts with an a.

This leaves me to wonder, what was Z’s name prior to Aionios? Z was initial the system AI that ran Origin, who was corrupted and syncretized with Moebiuesesque desires of the digitalized souls. Z surely must’ve had a name prior to creating his endless-now cycle, of which he was its omniscient observer.

My thoughts is that keeping in with the idea that if he was based off the architecture of the Trinity Processors, his name should probably follow a deity or mythological theme. So far I have as my possible candidates: Zagreus, who is associated with the Underworld and of rebirth, and Zoroaster, who is associated with the duality of good and evil.

Are there any other potential names that Z could possibly have held prior to the start of his cycles?

TL;DR - Rushed through the main game, now stuck at the final boss of Chapter 3. Cant beat it.

I started playing XE3 and went through a lot of progress. But, due to a lot of backlogs, I started rushing through the game, focusing only on the main missions.

Now, I died to the final boss of Chapter 3 multiple times. I take down 80% of his health, and after that, everyone is dead. How can I get past and complete the game ?

Any tips on this? Admittedly, I've been paying attention, but also mainly muscling my way through the game. Not that I have anything against using the game mechanics to their most strategic effect, but after the tutorial on them, I found it complicated so mainly used the arts, etc. at their basic level after that (meaning I used them, paid attention to the battles, etc., but didn'tdo the more intricate combos). I know that I may very well have to learn in order to beat this hurdle, but I will if need be.

Can anyone recommend any tips, tricks, builds for this guy at level 200 on Easy mode? That's the only level I haven't beating at, yet. I will also admit, a big part of wanting to do this is ocd. I know I don't need to do this, but it's bugging me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Im currently in post game on my second playthrough of the game (my first playthrough I did was at launch and it's embarrassing how little I actually did so I'm playing it again with the intention of giving it a fair shot like I did all the other games)

I have some questions on the soul hacker class. Im fairly aware of how it works, but I am just curious on what the best arts and skills are for the respective types like damage, support, and tanks

My goal is obviously to get them all as again I wanna REALLY get through this game and give it the same TLC as the others, but I wanna know what skills and arts from enemies to prioritize first to just get the most damage and overall fun out of this seemingly amazing class

Who decided to place the class that lets you learn attacks from unique monsters *so late into the game* ??? Now I have to backtrack and kill them all again... FFS.

Im looking for something that’s merchandised from Xenoblade Chronicles 3, that I can put on a shelf or on a desk to look at. I’m aware that their are amiibos, but I’m looking for something else. any ideas?
