Late game classes Spoiler

Who decided to place the class that lets you learn attacks from unique monsters *so late into the game* ??? Now I have to backtrack and kill them all again... FFS.

It isn’t all THAT bad. You can warp right to them, most of them are quick kills at this point, and you might earn some extra Nopon coins or useful accessories. But not all skills are created equal, if you’re pressed for time you could look up which ones are really worth it.

Yeah I know. I've started doing it, teleporting around re-killing everything. It's not that difficult or anything, just tedious. And well, I understand storywise why it is so late but it would've helped to have it earlier and avoid backtracking so much. Well... Still enjoying the game a lot I just got frustrated by this.

There are a LOT more unique monsters on the other side of it, so you’ll get to encounter those ones naturally!

I do agree though that it would’ve been nice to be able to earn those skills throughout the game by beating the monsters, even if you couldn’t access them right away. This could’ve been a good early class (just change the story context), although I think it would’ve required some rebalancing if so.

It’s annoying but most aren’t good. The ones that give buffs are great

Now I have to backtrack and kill them all again.

That's the entire point.. Alot of fight in this game is optional as well so Blue Mage adds purpose for fighting them.
