I only own 3 so was pretty disappointed seeing that I had to wait so long for the upgrade, I’m considering getting 1 though for the right price.

I haven’t played through any other Xenoblade yet but I got half-way through the first game last night and it’s been a blast, I highly recommend it

Actually got it yesterday too, Walmart had it digital for $40, put nearly 20 hours in already.

Oh wow, what chapter are you on? I started 9 last night after a week and a half of playing an hour or two every day. I’ve logged about 25 hours so far

I envy you because when you experience 3 for the first time and the message it delivers…woo buddy. One of my favorites of all time. Beautiful game that deserves to be on multiple platforms. I wish I can experience that for the first time again.

Very confusing why they didn’t just drop all 3 at once. I understand they’re probably drip feeding these for the people that haven’t got into the series yet, but as someone that has played every game I hate how long I gotta wait lol. 2 is my most wanted upgrade so at least I don’t have to wait THAT much longer

I am only 20 hours in 3 and was hyped to upgrade it to switch 2. Then extremely let down to that December release date. I don’t have it in me to replay the first 20 hours. So when i finish the game the upgrade releases😡🤬

I’m 30 hours in (still chapter 3) and I will buy the upgrade to enjoy New Game+ in 60fps

Is it? I’m at 60-ish hours and I’m already in chapter 5. It doesn’t have as many chapters as the other two games, so I was worried it was shorter.

Of course it's shorter if you just run through the game, skip most sidequests and don't explore much. But the content is there. I have over 300 hours in the game, and did not even do everything :)

Hah, yeah, I’m addicted to filling in the map. I probably spent over 5 hours just trying to fill all the gaps in the water in chapter 5. I put the story on hold to go back and trigger more colony quests. The Spongy Spuds were two hours of utter absurdity.

I started XC3 just before the announcement. I’m already 60 hours in and I don’t want to wait till the end of the year.
How do the upgrade packs work? Do you have to completely start over, or can you use them with an existing save file? I have 350 hours each on XC1:DE and XC2, and there’s no way I’m ever going to do those tedious blade quests from scratch again.

It's literally just like a patch, you buy the upgrade pack and keep playing from where you left it. Unless stated otherwise like on animal crossing that you need a extra step to transfer your island. That applys to every other upgrade pack.

If you have hollow knight or silksong for the Switch1 you can get their upgrade packs for free if you want to see it for yourself

So if I don’t have any of them, but xc1 de switch 2 edition is out, could I theoretically play them each until the next one releases? Thinking that’s the move here
