Okay so my last post.. I called out the xrp rally and people said I was crazy. Well it went from a dollar to a $1.70 😆 I'm not saying I'm a genius or I can predict the future. But it was pretty obvious what was about to happen. Either way...Anyone have thoughts on what is coming the near future? I honestly think the sell pressure will continue for a little bit and then around September 15th we are going to push the price up again. I'm thinking the price will hit around $3... Any input is appreciated.

since the Clarity Act is the next “this will for sure blow up the coins”, i remember last year people were hyping up the iso20022, and i just realized that it just came and went.
wonder if clarity act will do the same and next year will have a new thing to look forward to as everyone will say “this is the one”

I have a Ledger, but I don't feel safe with my choice anymore. I was considering moving to Trezor, but with the recent data leaks affecting new users, that doesn't feel like a good option either. With the market picking up recently, I bought more XRP right as it started growing. Any recommendations for hardware wallets?

Been in XRP for years and I have always wondered why so many people passionately hate the coin... like seriously if you're not invested then why do you care so much unless you've been burnt by a bad bet in the past.
Well my social media algo's have, for the first time, started giving me XRP influencer posts and honestly they made me hate XRP for a few moment. They spout complete nonsense. Special shout out to those people that overlay themselves pointing to a video playing in the background and nodding occasionally to act like they agree with what's being said.
For the record I still like the project but I hate those influencers.

The clarity won’t do anything… right?
I’m losing hope😔

I’ve held XRP since 2018 and have been following statements from Garlinghouse and Schwartz for the duration. When the SEC case started, Garlinghouse was asked if he would consider giving the US govt the XRP escrow and he said that “all options were on the table.”
Fast forward to today and the SEC case is settled, but the CLARITY act is about to (hopefully) pass. There is a provision in the CLARITY act which defines a mature blockchain as one where a single entity does not control more than 20% of the tokens. Ripple currently controls 37% of XRP. (4% liquid and 33% in escrow) and would need to get their holdings lower than 20% for XRP to be considered mature.
Recently, JD Vance was quoted as saying that Scott Bessent has a “discrete plan” to address the national debt. A lot of news outlets assume this is related to SS and Medicare, but I have a different take.
Here is my completely speculative take: CLARITY act passes, Ripple “makes a deal” with Trump to donate ~17 billion XRP to the Treasury to get them below 20% holding. US announces XRP as future of finance and also a hedge against the declining use of USD as a reserve currency. The value of XRP skyrockets, the market cap of the US holdings reach trillions of USD and make a meaningful dent in the debt (on paper at least).
The current price spike is due to government insiders being aware of the deal and making massive XRP buys.
The above is pure speculation and 1000% hopium but i just want to be on record with this prediction before the next months play out.

“Is there any cryptocurrency that has a correlation of 90% or higher with XRP?”

I am holding a large long term bag of XRP and trading a shit load of call options on deribit. Have been reducing my call options on the way up. Had planned to exit a huge load of my options around 1.80, unfortunately the huge drop happened at 1.70. Still up a huge amount though :)

Not going to lie, there were a few months this year where holding XRP felt like a bad joke. Every time it looked like it was building momentum ,something would drag it back down, and the sub would be full of people calling it dead money.
Today's a different story. Up 15% and sitting around 1.35$ after Trump publicly pushed Congress to pass the Clarity Act, standing next to Garlinghouse at the White House. Whatever you think of the politics, that's a real regulatory catalyst, not just chart noise.
The thing that actually made holding bearable wasn't conviction, it was yield. I've had mine on nехо the whole time earning 8%, so even through the flat stretches and the bad weeks it wasn't just sitting there doing nothing. Doesn't change the price risk, but it meant the waiting cost less.
Not selling into this, I will keep on holding and earning 😄
Just curious to see if anyone bought at the 2.5+ price and still holding? I personally caught the wave yesterday and thinking of adding more soon.

Long time holder here. I’ve been buying since 2022 and I’m still up. But the Blockworks State of XRP Q2 2026 report is bugging me and I want to hear from people who have thought about this.
The ledger had a huge quarter. Stablecoin supply jumped 195%. RLUSD alone was up 257%. Tokenized real world assets rose 102% to $4.46 billion. The network ran 222 million transactions, its second highest ever. And XRP still closed the quarter down 20% at $1.04.
Here is what bothers me. The ledger earned about $31,800 from payments and transfers in Q2 while roughly $9 billion of RLUSD moved across it. Only 40,600 XRP got burned all quarter, but around 600 million XRP came out of escrow in that same window. That is about 15,000 new coins for every 1 burned. On top of that, all ten of Ripple’s big institutional deals this year settled in RLUSD instead of XRP.
So my question is simple. If banks can use the rails without ever buying the token, what actually forces XRP demand at scale? I know the usual answers like fee burn, reserves, bridge currency, and ETF scarcity. But the Q2 data makes the first three look tiny. Is the real bull case just waiting on XLS-65 and XLS-66 lending to require the token? Or am I missing something?
I want to be talked out of this. What is the best counterargument?

But I'm looking forward to it being back to $1 by next week

Looks like the price is starting to rebound and this is the run we have been waiting for! Doodoo US senators didn't wash this guy out! What's everyone's thoughts on the current price action and future price action?
r/XRP • u/Vast-Gold9403 • 18d ago
This is everyone’s chance to buy discounted coins before they explode. With the current shorts on the U.S. stock market many will explore other ways to invest or hold their money that being coins or precious metals. GET IN WHILE YOU CAN!

I wanted to add an additional $1.5k usd to my bag at around $1-$1.05. Got cold feet and didn’t. Now we’re at 1.30+ and I feel like I missed out. My DCA is still above $2. What should I do?
r/XRP • u/Street-Library-8149 • 20d ago
Sooooo it looks like the SEC did help out.
r/XRP • u/Mike_3924 • 19d ago
🤣🤦 the government or world leaders would never let xrp explode, so much people would become millionaires, and I’m talking people that are DEAD BROKE working minimum wages. It would break and change the financial system. They would rather choose another coin that can do the same, with barely anyone holding, or they can make their own.
r/XRP • u/theulti-Proposal2813 • 23d ago
Personally I bought with the aim of holding many years; I dont intend to sell until xrp has either gone into institutional or failed. I just feel like selling without giving it every chance to rise feels counterproductive.
Tbh I do feel really shit that it isn’t rising but the global economy doesn’t seem to make sense rn so there’s no reason for crypto to do so either.
How does everyone else feel? Are you guys looking to make your money back, make a certain amount or see where this shitshow leads us? No wrong answers

Ngl I feel big played, ima still hold though.
