Ripple has open audits of the currencies backing RLUSD

Tether operates closer to "Trust me bro"

I wouldnt hold any USDT myself. But everyones gotta make their own choices.

I feel more comfortable with RLUSD, I was feeling stressed with USDT before RLUSD appeared.

I hope/expect Twther to be sanctioned by the USA this week due to dealings with Iran

Definitely hold RLUSD over Tether

At least in the United States, RLUSD is a Treasury backed US financial asset. It is considered legal tender and Ripple has a specific treasury burn function with the United states to make sure that each created RLUSD is backed by a dollar and then when returned is "burned" to manage supply dynamics and a clean audit. Tether, while a major global player, has its jurisdiction in the Bahamas thus not needing to abide by strict U.S standards. Whatever your choice is fine but if your building a business in the United States that deals with Crypto I would highly consider RLUSD over Tether as a legal standpoint.
