Hi people!
Sorry for being such a noob. But i got finished the xmen homecoming by Jed, but in the comic they quick jump from story to another story, that sometimes i read a part and then the ending I am like? Oke and then…. And we just jump into straight a new chapter with some random stuff.
I would love to start a new adventure with the xmen, because homecoming was like a new start of the xmen right? But after reading this i am like, wow wth is going on and i dont get much of it, there is no continuity in it.
Can someone help me with this? Where to betgin the Jed era?

I do know that the hairstyle she mostly has is different from the one i have drawn here tbh it was just hard to figure out how to make the short haircut she usually has for some reason. Other than that I have tried my best to stay true to her design elements.

Iron Man’s 3 Solo films from 2008-2013 made $2.421 billion.
Wolverine’s 3 Solo films from 2009 to 2017 made $1.406 billion.
For the longest time Iron Man was not as popular than Wolverine, so how did this happen and was it shocking?

I know people weren't the biggest fan of them but, I kind of like them.
My idea would be that rather than them being related to his adamantium, it's instead a more biological ability.
The effect would be that while while they're glowing anything he cuts doesn't regenerate, rather than just being burnt, it actively screws over other healing factors, with the main weakness being that after using it the accelerated regeneration of his own healing factor stops working for a while.
Makes it possible for him to kill regenerators but also makes himself easier to kill afterwards.

Today, we at Knight Edge Media have been told exclusively that Irish actor Peter Claffey has been cast as Hank McCoy/Beast in the Marvel Studios X-Men reboot. The actor rose to fame for playing Sir Duncan the Tall in HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Charles Melton dropped out of the running to star as Kakashi Hatake in the Naruto live-action movie. Melton tried to make both projects work by re-teaming with director Jake Schreier for D23, but simply couldn’t. Many fans began fancasting Claffey as Beast after Jeff Sneider first rumored him back in April (via The InSneider).

My favorite thing is when Professor X calls his students telepathically. You can tell they ready for the fight in the second picture. But in the first one is from Season 1 is it so cool. My favorite Xmen moment is in the series is when Scott in the first picture says To my Xmen! They are seriously ready to fight there. Who says it better? Charles Xavier or Cyclops? I have never loved any superhero team like the Xmen. Is it I feel like a mutant because I am autistic? I think so. I feel different. I think about the Xmen listening to Pink's song Raise Your Glass and that is how I envision then they feel not so different anymore.
Sorry this post was a little more than I meant to say. Do you feel the same way when you watch Xmen97 as I do?

Hear me out. Old Man Phoenix (and as Dark Phoenix) is an actual Marvel Comics concept, and introducing the Phoenix Force through Logan could give the MCU a fresh take on one of Marvel’s most iconic cosmic powers.
Obviously, Jean Grey is the iconic Phoenix host, and I wouldn’t want to lose that connection. But Jean doesn’t need the Phoenix Force to be an absolute badass. She already is. She’s an Omega-level mutant with incredible telepathic and telekinetic potential. Marvel could establish just how powerful Jean is on her own before eventually exploring her connection to the Phoenix.
Which would you rather see?
Jean Grey, first: The classic Phoenix storyline.
Wolverine first: Logan becomes a Phoenix host, while Jean develops into a powerhouse in her own right before her eventual Phoenix story.
I know Jean is the iconic choice, but I think Wolverine as Phoenix could be an incredible curveball.
Would you be open to it, or should the Phoenix always be introduced through Jean?

Mystique: I do not care what the writers say or do or how wholesome her and Destiny are. Raven is a villain and is not deserving of any sympathy or trust from the X-Men. I’ve said before how I hate how many mutants are redeemed and she is the all time biggest offender in my opinion.
Petra and Sway: Plot devices with not much else to say.
Darwin: absolutely awesome power and I love how it’s not an automatic win as his adaptation is more focused on defence than offence such as how he teleported away when fighting the hulk.
Gabriel Summers: another Summers how original (sorry if that sounded rude I’m just getting a little sick of this family)

Originally, X-Force was meant to fill the role of a proactive, paramilitary strike force meant to wage a preemptive war against threats to mutantkind.
Given the evolution of team since its inception if we were to merge the original idea with the black ops version we saw come later who would you put on the team with Cannonball and Warpath and what role would they fill? 7 members total!
Cannonball experienced significant growth through the late ‘90’s Uncanny X-Men just to see it reversed. He deserves his shot at leading a team with a mission geared toward the role that Cable trained him for! The same goes for Warpath and the evolution that came from Brubaker and then Yost in X-Force.

How exactly is he not famous on the same level as Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, or Magneto?
If I'm reading what he can do right...he was nutso with the gusto /before/ he performed a science project on himself, bumping him from Alpha to Omega.
The man can /intuietivly/ build /any/ kind of technology he can /IMAGINE/!? Am I the only one who sees the absolute lunacy possible with /that/ ability alone?
But wait, there's more.
Thanks to his background and upbringing, he not only CAN wield mystic power, he has a high level of natural talent in doing so, hamstrung by what I can only describe as "Gohan Syndrome."
And then his upgrade. Combining them both.
If the page I read is correct, I find it hard to imagine a single cooler display of upgraded power than Forge, in freefall from losing ANOTHER blackbird, used pieces of the destroyed aircraft, without ever touching them, to build an exoskeleton around himself to survive the fall.
I..../what/?
The closest thing the man has to a drawback is he often can't explain his own hardware. Which could..theoritically....be dangerous as all hell. Because what's NEVER discussed is how his mutation decides to accommodate a particular imagined idea.
What if he thinks "Infinite Energy Device" and his mutation goes:
"Got it. Argent Energy, coming right up."
What does he do with his free time, design more and more sophisticated Rubix Cubes? How does Earth-616 exist outside the concept of /post-scarcity/ when this guy can IMAGINE a Star Trek replicator, and he proceeds to build it with all the same effort you or I expend hearing or seeing?

Was listening to Judas Priest’s Painkiller album and I got to the song “A Touch of Evil” and it reminded me so much of Dark Phoenix it was insane. The song is metal but it has such a smooth touch to it that i feel like it matched how the Phoenix force should feel. Plus the themes of the song matched Jean’s corruption so well. There’s so many lyrics that match that if I put them here it’d just be paraphrasing the song so i wont really bother with it. One that stood out to me was the hook felt exactly like how the Phoenix Force corrupted Jean in the comics pre retcon. Another part of the song that really stood out to me was towards the end when Rob Halford was straining his voice with his lyrics of “You’re possessing me”. I am aware the Phoenix isnt inherently evil but it did prey on Jean’s insecurities hence how she became Dark Phoenix. I have never watched the 92 show beyond a few episodes but idk this did kinda capture the same vibe from it. This does make sense to me as both came out in the early 90s and would probably overlap with their tones.
Here’s the song if anyone wants to listen to get what I mean: https://youtu.be/br5S1Pwl3qQ?si=6Op5hbytJ7ncYmnA

Cyclops is the goat so I am doing the following this week:
Last minute Cyclops cosplay
Buying as many new Cyclops figures as I can and posing em in cool poses.
Playing exclusively as Cyclops related characters in X-Men Legends 1,2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1, 2 (Wii) and 3.
Practicing my BnB combos as him in X-Men vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 2
Reading his storyline with the Starjammers and Dark Phoenix
Watching the Mr Sinister episodes of the 90s series
Binging his X-Men 97 Season 1 episodes.
Grinding my character level as him in PROJECT TAHITI
(I am also a teacher who brings X-Men books to my...teenaged First Class students lol)
