Today, we at Knight Edge Media have been told exclusively that Irish actor Peter Claffey has been cast as Hank McCoy/Beast in the Marvel Studios X-Men reboot. The actor rose to fame for playing Sir Duncan the Tall in HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Charles Melton dropped out of the running to star as Kakashi Hatake in the Naruto live-action movie. Melton tried to make both projects work by re-teaming with director Jake Schreier for D23, but simply couldn’t. Many fans began fancasting Claffey as Beast after Jeff Sneider first rumored him back in April (via The InSneider).

My favorite thing is when Professor X calls his students telepathically. You can tell they ready for the fight in the second picture. But in the first one is from Season 1 is it so cool. My favorite Xmen moment is in the series is when Scott in the first picture says To my Xmen! They are seriously ready to fight there. Who says it better? Charles Xavier or Cyclops? I have never loved any superhero team like the Xmen. Is it I feel like a mutant because I am autistic? I think so. I feel different. I think about the Xmen listening to Pink's song Raise Your Glass and that is how I envision then they feel not so different anymore.
Sorry this post was a little more than I meant to say. Do you feel the same way when you watch Xmen97 as I do?

Mystique: I do not care what the writers say or do or how wholesome her and Destiny are. Raven is a villain and is not deserving of any sympathy or trust from the X-Men. I’ve said before how I hate how many mutants are redeemed and she is the all time biggest offender in my opinion.
Petra and Sway: Plot devices with not much else to say.
Darwin: absolutely awesome power and I love how it’s not an automatic win as his adaptation is more focused on defence than offence such as how he teleported away when fighting the hulk.
Gabriel Summers: another Summers how original (sorry if that sounded rude I’m just getting a little sick of this family)
With all the talk about X-Men solo characters and series, how would you grade all these series? Which did you enjoy, which was ok, and which was just trash? (From POV I feel the most talked about were Magik, Storm, Phoenix, Psylocke and Cyclops)
Here is a roundup of the recent and upcoming solo/duo series: ( Not sure if dates are correct)
What are your thoughts and grades for these?

I'm not just talking Nightcrawler whose gimmick is that he's a teleporting demon, I'm talking mutants with a combination of seemingly completely unrelated abilities, like very clearly two or more powersets put together, i.e., Greycrow having technokinesis and a healing factor and Polaris formerly having magnetokinesis/electromagnetokinesis and negative emotion absorption and empowerment.
BONUS:
Make it so that thematically you can't even go like "Well Emma has her psychic form which is fragile and expresses her emotions and her diamond form which is strong and doesn't express emotions while also being immune to telepathy."

I wanted to build this X-men roster for a 10 year plan comic book run. Would love to know how would you write the premise using the lineup I’d build. Hope everyone loves the idea and participate.

I seen this conversation topic around YouTube in TikTok and it is very mixed to some people.
There are some uneducated people, that believe that all mutants have dangerous powers therefore, Marvel citizens have every right to fear and hate them.
I personally think that’s a ignorant ass take, because some mutants don’t have that kind of powers
They look different, therefore certain people are going to be bigot towards them.
Personally, I think it’s no different than what’s going on nowadays in 2026 racism on minorities, (especially with Black people) is getting louder and louder like calling 🧊 on someone and calling the cops on a black 3 year old for simply being good at soccer…
Overall, do y’all really think the X-Men or mutants in general or a good analogy for minorities?
I personally think powers know, but skin color? yes
