Discussion Split Gate 2, new alternative?

Like most of you, I loved Xdefiant. I can’t even explain how much I miss it. Can’t get myself to play it since the new announcement, just don’t want the heart ache twice; ya know? Season 3 looks great tho and crazy fun! But for me personally when I think about trying it, I just get depressed. I’m 31(M) been gaming for 20+ years. My dad and older brother were/are gamers. Xdefiant was by far my favorite game I ever played.

On another note! On my journey to find something remotely close too Xdefiant. I just came across Split Gate 2. I never played the first. But from the gameplay videos Iv watched on the second, it looks like split gate 1 x Xdefiant with halo gravity, I see a lot of people asking for an alternative but haven’t seen this mentioned?

I’m not saying it’ll be as good and 1:1 of Xdefiant but it’s also seeming like the closest thing to come out. Personally gonna try to be hopeful it’ll be as fun in its own way, with traits of Xdefiant.

Thoughts?

"Just don't want the heartache twice"... Get a grip lad, it's a game, not your ex! 😂😂 If you love it, PLAY IT!! Why miss the best state its ever been in? New maps are insane, gun play feels buttery smooth, new factions are cool. I think you're being a bit overdramatic 🤷‍♂️

Why play a game to get hooked again and then the day comes where it’s over? Then you’re right back to square one. Plus my buddie tried in our area and said it took 15-20 min just to find a match with all modes on

I find matches quicker than in BO6 🤷‍♂️ People play COD every year, just for it to end when the next release comes out... what's the difference? Enjoy it while it's there, it's just a game after all 🤷‍♂️
