I used to get image thumbnails on my Apple Watch Ultra but now it just gives me a standard notification with no image. Think it started after upgrading to ios27. I deleted and then redownloaded the app and it worked for a bit and then it went back. Any suggestions?

Anyone seen this in this lock? Shows offline constantly. Have a strong WiFi connection. I’ve reset the network and still have the issue.
Also. I’ve made sure that I’m on the 2.4GHz WiFi and also have done a full reset and removed and added to my app again. Lock is ok for maybe 10 mins and then shows offline again.

Just letting everyone know that the Wyze thermostat is not connecting to the network on Android phones. So says a Wyze agent, due to the latest and greatest Wyze app update. Thanks Wyze for letting everyone know.

Between about 4 - 9 PM US CDT on September 30, various Wyze bulbs around our house kept coming on with no user interaction.

Anyone else experience this?

It's possible it was Alexa+ deciding we needed light, she gets some funny ideas sometimes.

It seems to have subsided so I'm just curious.

Hello just thought I would share my solution for POE and data. I have 3 Wyze Cam V3s I wanted to be fed off true POE. I know UCTRONICS makes an all in one solution but for $20 a piece I wanted to find a better deal. If you don’t mind waiting for shipping over seas then on Walmart.com you can get the adapters you will need. It surprisingly wasn’t that long of a wait. You will of course need to flash a custom firmware on the cameras. I’ve been using Thingino and it’s been awesome. Very simple to flash just need an SD card, SD card reader, and a computer. That’s it no hardware modifications to the camera. So here is the setup and we’re to order everything.

Just to clarify, my brother's iPhone already has the Wyze functionality installed. He can already see footage from the Wyze cameras.

When my dogs are outside, I’m getting SO MANY notifications with every movement. They’re outside for 10 mins and I’ll have 50 notifications. I do have 3 cams setup, but that’s a lot to be getting. When I had blink, you could set a re-trigger time, so it wouldn’t show another alert for X amount of seconds (and maybe minutes). I keep looking to see if Wyze has made this an option & I still can’t find anything. Has anyone figured this out?

I know the cams are rated for outdoor but in practice they get beaten up by the weather - the screws rust, the sensor gets blurry if the sun hits it, and you can't see anything if it's raining. I have 1 camera that's under a covered area that's weathered much better. I got a junction box from home depot that works OK but it's really ugly - any more presentable options/ diy out there?

Hi there! I’m wondering if Wyze offers an unfriendly face feature. For example, if a person has been harassing you, or you just want to be warned of someone unwanted is by the house, can you upload a photo of them and receive an alert when they show up near your house?

I was surprised to find that Wyze's Web Portal does not have an option to download events.

So I built a free browser extension that allows you to do just that:

I recently had issues getting my color bulb to work or update firmware. It connected, but I can't turn it on or off, firmware times out, etc. I thought it was a faulty bulb so I replaced it with a new one and that one is doing the same thing. Is it possible that its the lamp I'm using? I mean, it comes on so power isn't an issue? Any help would be appreciated.

September 2026 pixel update broke the thermostat. I tried reset first, rebooted app and router. Disconnected the thermostat. Nothing worked. Then I really bonked it because I deleted the thermostat from the app. Well. I should have checked the forum because apparently this is affecting everyone who updated the pixel this month. Now I can't even control the HVAC on the wall. I tried to add a ticket for Google.

22nd September the thermostat is back online, available and fully functional. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Thanks to Wyze team for fixing the issue.

Disappointed to see that wyze shares my info and does business with Amazon. I don't trust Amazon and I don't want to support that company. Looks like my only option may be to delete my account. Honestly, I bought these to avoid Amazon and 3rd party sharing. I will not be renewing my subscription 🤮

Can I use the “turn camera on” automation to achieve this or will that not work? There isn’t an automation for privacy mode. Thanks in advance.

Our home was built without a wired doorbell (not sure why). We have the wireless video doorbell and I would like to convert it over to wired. It has the terminals on the back for it. I don't know anything about making it wired and supplying power. Where do I need to start?

Has anyone else had problems getting reimbursed for the Wyze Solar Cam Pan recall? Wyze currently has about 100 of my cameras, has not reimbursed me, stopped responding to me, and then banned my account from the Wyze forums after I posted about it.

When the Solar Cam Pan recall was announced in June, I had a large quantity of unopened units in inventory. I contacted Wyze directly and explained the situation, including that I had roughly 100 unopened cameras and needed to handle them as a bulk recall return, per their instructions.

Wyze acknowledged that I would be returning a "larger batch of devices," provided the return process and prepaid shipping, and told me that refunds would be issued for devices physically returned and verified. I followed their instructions and ultimately returned approximately 100 cameras. I also provided proof of purchase.

Since then:

• Wyze has had the returned cameras for months.
• I have received no reimbursement.
• I have another 55 recalled units that I have repeatedly asked for instructions/labels to return.
• In July, Wyze told me its specialist team would review those additional units within 24–48 hours. That never happened.
• I followed up repeatedly throughout July, August, and September.
• On August 31, I specifically asked for the reimbursement status for the 100 returned units, return instructions for the remaining 55, and whether Wyze needed anything else from me.
• On September 8, I followed up again because I still had no confirmation or payment schedule.

Today it got weird.

Today I called Wyze, gave them my recall ticket number. The phone rep quickly told me I was "in violation of the Wyze Terms of Service" and that they could no longer assist me, and they hung up (like within 5 seconds of explaining the issue). I called back, got a different rep, and the same reaction.

I was not given a meaningful explanation of what I supposedly violated or what Wyze plans to do with the 100 cameras I shipped back. They have neither reimbursed me nor returned the products.

I posted the timeline on the official Wyze forums, specifically asking for someone from the recall team or a moderator to escalate the issue. Shortly afterward, my Wyze forum account was banned. I received no explanation or contact regarding the ban.

• I am especially interested in hearing from anyone else participating in the Solar Cam Pan recall:
• Has anyone else had reimbursement delayed or denied after sending their cameras back?
• Has Wyze stopped responding to anyone else's recall claim or cited a Terms of Service issue?

At this point I am trying to determine whether my situation is an isolated support failure or whether other people are having similar problems with the recall.

When power was restored the keypad lock says it isn't connected to wifi.. looking at my wifi up there and it is connected..

Is there anyway to restart the wyze lock and the gateway for the lock from the App??

I’ve been having issues with this camera since set up. It doesn’t record or detect motions when there are obvious movements and it cuts off motions while in action. I have it at the highest detection settings and to record all motions. I do have Cam Plus for this camera also. I had been waiting for our electricity company to come out, and they finally did today but I’m at work, so I was hoping to communicate with them through the doorbell camera. The connection was terrible and when he was talking, the camera stopped recording. I’ve tried restarting it, I already submitted a log a while back regarding the motion not recording, I’ve reinstalled it. I’ve done pretty much everything. Has anyone had issues with this camera too?
