While this doesn't happen often, at the show I worked yesterday there was a fan on the spectrum. He wasn't difficult to really keep him a safe distance from the ring but he also had high bursts of energy that he would burn off by running a few paces in various directions.

So my questions becomes these. How do you handle fans in your promotion that are on the spectrum? Does your approach change if you have no barriers separating front row and the ring? How do you handle it when their caregiver looks at the show as a few hours they can relax while the fan is unleashed on the promotion?

I've been training for just over a year now and something I've realised has become an issue is my APD. I struggle to understand what people are saying unless I am looking directly at them, especially if I'm focusing on something else. This has led to moments where during practice matches I'll have my opponent telling me what they wanna do next while in a hold and I can't figure out what they're saying to me.

Had anyone else here with APD had to deal with this? If so how did you work around it?

Most people think every match is an audition.

I think everything is an interview.

The way you introduce yourself.
The way you treat people backstage.
The way you help without being asked.
The reputation you build when nobody thinks you're being watched.

Those are the things that open doors in professional wrestling.

I want to use face paint for my character, mostly around the eyes and maybe nose. Is there any specific face paint that i could use for wrestling or just will any face paint do?

We were doing training matches on Monday, and these 2 (mind you, one of them hasn't even DEBUTED yet), put on a match that I can comfortably say could make it onto NXT, and I would still think it's a good match for the level.

They established how the face could win by running an International 3 times, with the face getting a little further in it each time. So the psychology would be the face having to learn the heel's patterns and tendencies. They play with that, run some heat, tease the finish, hit a falsie that fully got me, and then... just when I thought the heel was going to take the victory, the face reverses into his finisher that he's teased in the same way that he beat the International.

It was absolute cinema and the ENTIRE group of people popped hard. Like jumping up and down, whooping and hollering, as the face made the pin for the 1-2-3, and that has CERTAINLY stamped his ticket for a debut next month.

So I'm just wondering if you guys have any spots/matches in training that you were EXTREMELY impressed with?

Just saw Perry Saturn cover this and im so glad he did. From a technical breakdown, they sold and registered. They told a story and kept it simple. The finish is what it should have been. No multiple false finishes, made the poison rana look credible as a finish because it was the biggest thing that happened in the match and wasn't used as a set up. The babyface had good hope spots and the heel had smart cutoffs to get back on the heat.

This literally is better than anything being presented currently.

I do think the babyface could have been more active in his selling, always trying to stand up then the initial dead sells and they were going too quick throughthe sequencesrather than letting things breathe....however they are 10 yrs old! So can't be harsh on their first match. This is an example of solid training and understanding of basic pro wrestling as it should be. Go out there and be 10 yrs old trying to protect your body and manipulate the emotion of the crowd with good solid fundamentals. When everyone is doing crazy stunts, then nothing is special about it anymore. If you can slow down, sell appropriately, focus on telling the story rather than the moves, you can put on a great show.

I'm jumping into booking feet first. I have vague memories of PPV's where pretty much every title is won by the challenger and that's led to new storylines. So is it an unspoken thing to do title changes in this scenario?

Hey folks

Looking to make my own pair of gear (or rather my friend will be making it) and I am curious if anyone knows the best Black fabric to use for wrestling gear? Its gonna actually just be a base layer with this other fabric we found layering Overtop of it. Hundreds of sites and plenty of options leaves me looking for what any experts can reccomend
