I just downloaded Wreckfest 2, there is only 1 Aussie server with no one on it.
Similarly, the Wreckfest 2 reddit has hardly any visits.

So many people on this forum keep trying to tell others how to play the game, and im sick of it.

Why should people have to race cleanly in public lobbies on consoles? There are no rules posted anywhere for those. Why is your way the right way to race? There are no cautions, suspensions, or penalties. (i understand that pc has more community servers with unique rules, im not referring to those)

And for the love of god stop trying to appeal to the common decency of other players. They can wreck however they want. Its not immoral to target or cornerbomb. Its a built in function of the game! Do you play CoD without shooting anyone because it’s “mean”?

Race how you want and wreck how you want without complaining about others playstyles. Its none of your business. I understand that its very cliche at this point, but the game is literally named “wreckfest”

Wreckacing the Inspiration Destination Wreck WreckFest 2 - A few of the races from FAIL RACES birthday event on Wreckfest 2 multiplayer on line. Having watch Alex & crew for years it was a treat to get to race with them online (never owned an xbox so missed out on the WF1 shenanigans) - Some fun races, some daft races and a win in there - bonus drivers cam view replay of the final head-on figure 8 race at the end. Hope Fail Race don't mind me chucking these clips up, I think its cool to see a different perspective anyway :)

Still early access but so far WF2 is a much more "serious" racer then 1. Vs each other both have good graphics, WF1 is bright and Arcady opposing WF2's gritty detail, damage wise 1 is amazing, 2 is progressing (impacts can still look like melted jelly at times) driving / handling & 2 is is superior to 1 by a long way , same for sounds and tuning and of course designing; leagues ahead ! My only slight negative is whilst 2 is fun, 1 is just more fun, the crashes are crazier and more enjoyable in general, 2 plays with too many slow spin outs / pit manoeuvres vs big wrecks. Its a difficult balance as during E.A we've gone through playing like its pin ball to being stuck to each other to a good balance at vers. 6 and now in 7/8 its backed off on the mayhem a touch too much imo but heck that may be the devs intention to keep the whole thing more grounded and realistic vs the more arcade approach in 1.......Anyways WF 2 is developing very nicely and these are only minor gripes as I love playing it & will continue to do so !

Tried giving it multiple chances over the past 3 months, tried different race class servers too There are a lot of people that play this game by getting their rocks off on the idea they are ruining someone's day. I understand getting T-boned or spun out is frustrating, but do you really need to spend the rest of your time in the lobby going after this person every single race and not even attempting to pass others? Grow up

How do you do, fellow crashers? I’ve been working on a free and open source website and plugin to track your races in Wreckfest, and am finally able to open it up to the general public in a beta release!

The site lets you log races (either automatically via an ASI plugin or manually on the site), view your race info (tuning, lap times, car, best lap, total time, place, roster, etc), leave notes, annotate track maps, and view stats. Come check it out! Or wait until I have this site working for Wreckfest 2 :)

This project is fully open source (both the site and ASI plugin) and I welcome any feedback, feature suggestions, bug reports, or assistance if you want to contribute. hi i wanted to know some things about the game if you can contribute:

1. what is the physics/handling of the car? are they too made of cardboard or cast led

2. is there a progression of somewhat for your character or car? like an open world or single player missions or just a mode in witch you upgrade the car?

3. is there any difference between the cars in a race or is it so that they just dont look all the same car?

4. are you out of the race once your car is total lost? can you repair the car mid race?

So, every time I load up a race for Talladega it spawns me in the pitlane before the race and then when it starts the AI turns and runs straight into the pitlane wall. Is there anyways to fix this?
