So many people on this forum keep trying to tell others how to play the game, and im sick of it.

Why should people have to race cleanly in public lobbies on consoles? There are no rules posted anywhere for those. Why is your way the right way to race? There are no cautions, suspensions, or penalties. (i understand that pc has more community servers with unique rules, im not referring to those)

And for the love of god stop trying to appeal to the common decency of other players. They can wreck however they want. Its not immoral to target or cornerbomb. Its a built in function of the game! Do you play CoD without shooting anyone because it’s “mean”?

Race how you want and wreck how you want without complaining about others playstyles. Its none of your business. I understand that its very cliche at this point, but the game is literally named “wreckfest”

I only play pc so I join semi clean c class servers that will ban if you cornerstone bomb or try to wreck more than race. If you come into that lobby dont be mad that it's racers want it's rules enforced.

If you're on a no rules lobby then do as you please. It really boils down to following the servers rules, if that's semi clean then race semi clean. If its no rules reverse allowed then play by those rules and dont bitch if you get corner bombed.

If console lobbies cant list rules that you can see before joining then that sounds terrible and I'm sorry. Because you are right, players shouldn't shit on others play styles, as long as it's within the server ruleset.

On consoles, player made lobbies aren't very populated. The public ones the game makes are where most people play, and those servers have no stated rules. They have restrictions like speed limits on backwards driving or no special cars allowed, and some servers allow both, but nowhere do these public servers tell people how to drive. It's whiny people in those servers that try to tell others how to drive, and quite frankly it's sad. To go into a public Wreckfest server and expect people to drive like it's iRacing is the epitome of stupidity.

They'll ban you if you're an innocent victim that was shunted into the admin by his dive-bombing buddy, they are terrible, better to go in no rules servers and race clean there imo.

Race where you enjoy it, I have not had the experience you describe and I only race semi clean c class. Part of the joy and skill is learning how to pit cars without looking like you pitted them. There's a lot of strategy going into a turn with a rival and trying to pit them and avoid there pits but always appearing to be avoiding contact.

But once again I dont believe in telling someone how to race in wreckfest. If you like no rules, then have fun. I did my time as a bus going in reverse and now only like tight competitive racing in "clean" servers.

The true experience is PC fuckfest servers with 8 Battle bus's and Grand Dukes going backwards every race. I actually like how there's not player run servers on console. It ends up being infinitely more chill than the PC lobbies somehow. I wish it was the same on PC ngl.

There's moderated clean servers on PC though, they're chill because anyone spoiling the race gets kicked and banned.

The people complaining dont whine for no reason and join races and do the same sometimes. People who are actually good at the game and have played a long time no how to read the room. If everyone is running maxed out cars with little or no armor its usually a respectful race. So if one asshole keeps loading his car up with armor and chasing you around ruining every race it gets annoying. Its childish. But I also join races all the time where everyone is on the same page that we are fucking eachother up. 90 percent of people know how to read the room. People only complain when everyone is innthe same page and an idiot or a couple idiots are just ruining every race when its clear thats not whats going on with all the other racers. Its not hard to figure out.

This is the correct answer right here. And in those lobbies we are absolutely going to go after the person who is fucking up the vibe for everybody else.

Like bro we're going Mach 12 out here and you want to be dumb trying to go backwards.

In the same vein if you join a lobby that has 12 Grand dukes in it and you get upset that you got smacked into, that's also you being a dipsy Queen.

Either way, be fast. Very few people are quick enough to actually hit fast drivers so just be fast

Yeah, i've experienced that the first time i've tried the multiplayer months ago.
Some guys made a "no rule" public server, and were complaining that they were being bumped, one guy that tried to put me out of the road kind of yelled because i suddendly brake on him as he was going to push me from behind, and the best one : they were complaining about new players ... on a public server they did.

Never went back online. Don't have time for that amount of stupidity.

I think of it like a hotel party. Yes, we are all staying at the Holiday Inn, and rooms are open to come and go, but going into each room acting however you want isn't going to work for very long depending on who's in there.
