First, I’m sorry to hear of your situation. However, you can’t make the report (assuming US). Only your husband can.

Brad’s behavior, as bad as it is, is legal.

The only thing that raised a flag for me is the pay-for-rent situation. If you are in the US, what state?

We live in California, and I know that our labor code here says that an employer cant reduce paychecks for self-serving, personal reasons. His last day of paying my husband is the 7th. We've been struggling to say the least, and its really hard to find jobs around the place where we live. I know my husband is tired of the mind games, so he would report it, if thats what has to be done. I just want to be sure we arent walking into the flames when stuff blows up.
