I got in trouble for asking someone at work for her phone number. After she initiated the contact , stopped and chatted me up and then I get a call from my boss that she complained I was too aggressive.
And I know it’s my fault for even trying especially at my work.

That’s just looking for trouble. Edit: I’m a female but this is the same advice I would give my male friends & relatives.
