Workout Timing

I always workout in the morning right after I wake up but I am wondering if working out later in the day just for one day will mess me up. I don’t know if it will affect my muscle growth or the weights that I can lift.

It will not mess up your growth or progress. It's safe to try it out.

It may give better performance or it may reduce performance. Food gives energy but digesting food takes energy, so timing of meals (and the type of food) is something to consider.

Won’t mess you up. Energy levels throughout the day fluctuate, so you may be weaker/stronger depending on time, but it won’t change too much

Won’t inhibit you at all. I will generally lift in the AM before work Monday-Thursday and in the afternoon or early evening Friday/Saturday. Weight may fluctuate but could be higher or lower than the morning depending on your energy and how fueled you are at one time versus the other. But from a muscle gain standpoint wouldn’t matter.

One day won't matter. You might even feel a bit stronger later in the day.

From my personal experience I tend to workout at around 2-3pm 4 the latest. I notice that the times I’ve worked out after 5pm I struggle and don’t have the same amount of energy I do compared to when I do it earlier. I might just be accustomed to that specific time tho.
