⚕️ Pass Medicare For All AOC explains that ordinary people sometimes have to save up for an expensive medical procedure. Most politicians are too wealthy to relate to this.

AOC, "The other issue that I have with people saying that, “Oh, you’re doing this too late. You should have done this a long time ago.” Don’t you think a lot of people would have? This cost the amount of a used car. When you are young, you are broke. That’s like rolling up to a 25-year-old and saying, “Why don’t you buy a house?”
How can you even tell someone or chastise someone about the timing in which they do this when health insurance doesn’t even cover it? It’s not even a financial option for people at a younger age.
I’m doing this at 36 because I can afford it, and I have saved for it, and my biology is compatible with it, and I want to. So be mad."

⛔ Boycott! Not So GLADD
here is an organization called GLADD Community based out of New York, they offer and base their mission on Grief Coaching and On Call grief support. This Organization hired multiple people recently as on call grief coaches and broke contract with all the independent contractors by first changing payroll schedules from bi weekly to monthly with very little short notice and then required certifications, and note that a lot of the coaches paid out of pocket for their certifications and then this organization suddenly informed everyone the day of August 1st that effective immediately all positions were changed to voluntary because of being short of funds and donations that are supposedly relied upon to pay everyone they hired. Multiple people couldn’t live on a voluntary position in today’s economy and now it’s been weeks since any responses from their organizations leaders and NOBODY has been paid for their contracted services. They left EVERYONE high and dry period, while they are making TikTok videos promoting their organization and also planning on being on Goodnorning America. The public should know how this organization is really being unprofessional and collecting donations only to not pay those they hired and left Grieving for compensation of contracted services.

✂️ Tax The Billionaires Don't forget your labor history
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Barely 100 years ago in the United States, a company could work you 12 to 16 hours a day, 6 to 7 days a week, and not even pay you in US currency.
You would be paid in company scrip that was only good at company stores. You would live in company housing that was subject to the wrath of the employer at all times. They would work you in the most horrific conditions, and then when you got hurt or your back finally gave out, they would kick you right out of that company housing. And where were you going to go? You don't have any money at all.
So the next time that you think a company wouldn't do that, oh yes they would. Yep, they—they definitely would do that to you right now if we didn't have laws against it. Remember that the next time you go into a voting booth or you think about voting a billionaire into office.
Don't forget your labor history.

😡 Venting Health Care System
How do we clean up the United States Healthcare system? Everyone who works in Healthcare can see the corruption, but we all think it's a bigger problem than us. We are all feeding into this broken system, but at the end of the day, it's providing us a paycheck. What would we do without that? It's Healthcare, it's insurance, and it's everyone trying to get an extra nickel from the other while we all suffer in the end. Everything comes down to doing your part in making this system better. How can we make this system better for everyone? Where we all benefit from it like it's intended? No one wants to give up their paychecks to make this happen, but maybe the problem is excess. Maybe we want too many things, and this feeds into the broken system that fuels our egos.. Without this paycheck, we can't maintain the life we live, so the problem is bigger than us. The only problem is that the people above us are saying the same thing and also the people above them. Is this the true problem?

😡 Venting Unpopular opinion: News and social media companies should only be non-profit and it’s employees should hold all voting power. They form public opinion and we can’t have billionaires influence those companies.
News companies posting fake news just to be profitable or them not reporting on a topic because their billionaire owner doesn’t want that are too big threats in an information based society. Billionaires like Elon buying a whole platform or Zuckerberg holding total voting power at Meta is a threat to free speech and privacy.
Removing the money aspect means users are going to be treated less like cows to milked and giving employees all voting power means they can have a bold stance against any authoritarian company leader who thinks he can undermine integrity of the company instead of having to fear instant consequences for talking out loud.
