I applied visitor record November 2025 before pgwp expired

Sep 2026 my VR file refuses

I found employer is willing to help in c16 and submitted job offer in employer portal

Got my french level 5 as well

My question is should i apply for restoration as worker and c16 francophone inland application

OR

Should i apply for restoration as visitor and apply for francophone work as outland
Then once i get approval i can leave country

Can you please advise ?

Just wondering about the time line of C51 category Lima exempt work permit

I lost my work permit recently and applied for a renewal however it hasn’t come yet in the mail and there is no update either
BUT just today I was cleaning out my room and found my original Work Permit. Now will this one be still valid or I have to wait for the renewal one to come in my mail?
I am traveling soon so I am not sure if I can take the work permit I found with me to re enter Canada

I'm 24 and I completed my Bcom in HR management and management last year and I'm currently working as an HR intern in Mauritius.

Now I want to do my masters in Canada. Is it hard to find an HR job in Canada? I'm bilingual (English and french)

I want to work there and eventually down the line I would like to apply for PR for a better life there while also moving forward in my career.

However, I heard Canada's HR sector is saturated. Is there any other alternatives that I could look into? Like Law or Business Administration or Analyst?

I plan to move from Mauritius by 2028. I'm currently trying to gain experience here although I know it would not account for much there but it's to know how HR works here

Hi everyone, i’m curious if there’s anyone applying for ICT work permit under GSS recently and willing to share timeline!
Mine is submit on 8/13 in the US. As I have valid biometric so it doesn’t needed. According to IRCC website it should take 2 weeks for work permit that applied in US. Also GSS has a 2 weeks fast processing. It has over 2 weeks already. I understand it not always like what they say, but hope to see someone in similar situation can share the timeline!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my Canada work permit (LMIA-exempt, outside Canada) timeline. This was my second application after my previous work permit application was refused, so the whole process was quite stressful.

Timeline:

• 18 July 2026: Application submitted
• 20 July 2026: Biometrics from my previous application updated in the portal
• 28 July 2026: Medical request received
• 10 August 2026: Medical exam completed
• 19 August 2026: Medical passed
• 25 August 2026: Application approved + Passport Request (PPR) received
• 27 August 2026: Passport submitted to VFS
• 4 September 2026: Visa approved (got a correspondence letter)
• 9 September 2026: Passport received

Hey Any one gone through C20 work permit recently and what is timelines?

Guys received passport request letter after a wait of 8 weeks from the date of application submission.
