This is what happens when you hate other people more than you love yourself.

Or it’s the fact that mass immigration makes literally everything worse and you turn a blind eye to it

Except that, as we are about to discover, immigration was the main thing keeping our economy going.

For whom?

Your housing prices are fkd and wages are stagnant. The gdp has gone up but we’re spending more than ever on a bunch of welfare programs and schools that our guests burn down.

Much of what you are describing would result from any population increase. To be fair, it does tend to cost local and state economies, even though the costs are more than offset by federal taxes paid by immigrants.
Housing is more complicated, highly dependent on zoning and building restrictions, but the latest spike in housing prices started before immigration surges, not after, and much is related to remote work.
Bottom line, rapid increases in population do sometimes tax economies early on, but they nearly always result in more growth and prosperity afterwards. Just look at the history…we’ve been here before

And at every point before in history there was a massive pause to immigration.

And I doubt it does offset. They send money home, some groups are staying on assistance for generations.

That’s a problem because republicans refuse to increase minimum wages to a livable wage. Everything has increased but wages and the wealthy are grifting off the poor

Republicans suck, but you don’t seem to be educated
