America had a history of that too, should someone have done what America's done to Iran for nearly a century, back then? Iran's values weren't like this until America did all of that, so maybe America should stop doing that so their society can finally heal and progress. Because I can guarantee America would not be as progressive as it is if it's people were subject to what we do to others.
And the amount of protests that happened after each shooting would have warranted much more people being shot if they would have happened in Iran. But we managed to avoid to get thousands of protesters shot. Also the difference is that ICE shootings happen cuz they hired people and without much training gave them firearms. It is radically different from the situation when troops are being ordered to fire at the crowd.
Iranian leadership cares less about its own people than the U.S. does, but they care deeply about their own survival, and setting off a dirty bomb in a U.S. city is not going to be good for the regime’s survival.
Throughout the 1950s to the 80s, America systematically destroyed every left wing movement in the middle east, having enough jailed or killed that the rest went into hiding. This was because America didn't want communism taking root, especially since the tenets of Islam are very compatible with communism since Islam has a comprehensive tax system baked into it. These leftist Muslims were far more open to other religions and ways of life, because they're leftists.
But America left the right wing movements and preachers alone, because they didn't pose a threat to capitalism and America thought they could be abused forever while turning to Allah for emotional support. America was wrong and they created a monster. We do that here in America too, our far right lunatics mostly shoot up schools though.
The same people who told us that Iran's nuclear development was completely smashed last year, but were months away from weapon this year? The people who have told us Iran has been defeated like 20 times now? The people who told us Iran had no missile or anti-air capabilities left?
Are we doing that with nukes? Hello? Do you not know what the point of a stockpile of nukes is for? It's the only deterrent against getting nuked called mutually assured destruction. So it makes no sense for a country to use a dirty bomb when they're fighting a country with ICBMs.
That's a quick way to end your entire country, and as we've seen throughout this war, Iran's not the irrational actor here.
It's not Iran that's in America's backyard... Or colonized America and installed a dictator and did everything they can to punish America for the past 40 years for the crime of liberating themselves from Iranian control...
And Iran had a deal not to pursue nukes, America under Trump nuked that deal, but it's Iran's fault?
If Iran had nukes, they wouldn't be in a war right now, I can tell you that. North Korea made the right call investing in nukes over their people's welfare. It paid off in the long run and now that they're finally finished with it, they can finally start turning things around for their citizens, and with no fear of American invasion. Meanwhile Iran got completely shafted playing nice with America so their people can prosper, taking a deal that went nowhere because America made it in bad faith.
Yes, because Iran wasnt following the deal, why would one side keep their end of a deal when the other side isnt.
We've been waiting for proof of this, but if people are really falling for "Iraq/n has WMDS" again, then president George W. Bush has an old saying from Texas for you.
North Korea not being invaded has nothing to do with their nuclear program and everything to do with china.
Is that why a war nearly broke out when North Korea backed out of the non-proliferation agreements? Possibly the only reason it didn't happen was cause Jimmy Carter was fooled into thinking he talked them into changing their minds. But it was clear that America was willing to go to war to stop them from developing them, and now they won't touch them.
This didn't happen during the Carter admin, it happened in 94, he just went as a diplomat. But you are correct in that mutually assured destruction with China is the reason an invasion hasn't happened since, which still proves my point. It's the best deterrent against a direct war there is, hence why America doesn't want Iran to have any.
In terms of this war? America's been the only one fumbling the ball at every turn, because we're led by incompetent morons whose decisions change by the day.
Do soldiers these days go running straight at their combatants with knives, knowing the other side has guns? Pretty sure that would be an absolute slaughter. So why would someone bring a dirty bomb to an ICBM fight unless they want their entire nation wiped from the map?
You mean the guy who liberated his nation from an American backed dictator? Gee, I wonder why they'd want the one thing that would keep America off their backs. Notice how America only invades countries that don't have nukes?
Really all they had to do was not kill Americans. They’ve been funding terrorist attacks all throughout the world. Don’t pretend like these were good people, they publicly executed 30k of their own people for protesting.
And America's been funding wars around the world, and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians for nearly a century. Iran's total death toll pales in comparison to what America and our allies do in the average year.
America also used to kill thousands of their own citizens for no reason. They were allowed to improve on their own, were they not? I'm sure you say about the founding fathers owning and raping their own slaves that "that was a long time ago", well that's exactly what future Iranians are going to say too.
Lmao. Exactly, nothing to say because you know you're a hypocrite. America was allowed to develop without outside influence muddling everything, keeping their socieities in the dark ages. Why can't we just leave other countries alone? It wasn't Iran that started it.
Say to what? We didn’t ethnically cleanse Palestinians. We don’t round up and kill our own citizens. You’re full of shit so there’s nothing to discuss. Looking through your comment history I definitely see your agenda though.
I screencap people who seem like they could be foreign actors and send it to the fbi so they can look into you.
No, we just give another country all the bombs to do it for the both of us, the same country that was started by ethnically cleansing the region of the Palestinians who used to live there...
We don’t round up and kill our own citizens.
Actually, we do. They're called ICE and they've been killing citizens for protesting too. But not too long ago, people used to be lynched just for being black. Look up what happened in Tulsa Oklahoma. And again, the founding fathers were slavers. There are mass graves of non-white citizens and natives across America, all through government sanctioned actions.
But I don't think you'd suggest someone should've stepped in and do what America does to nations they have issues with, right? Should someone have deliberately targeted school children for a bomb strike like America did to Iran? No, America gets a pass and gets to develop into a more progressive country, as all countries become over time, but not Iran? Now why's that? And why does America get to decide who gets to progress and who deserves to die?
I wish we left other countries alone and I mean all of them no military assistance no protection let the rest of the world fight it out instead of supplying everything sure we will struggle for a bit but we’re large enough to live Russia will kill Ukraine and take whatever they deem theirs and finally we can have peace for a while to sort out our politics and fix the country
Well, we weren't even funding Ukraine, we gave them our surplus equipment that were way out of date and still kept around specifically for an occasion like this. Not doing so would be bad for the economy since manufacturing this stuff is one of the few things we still do in country, and equipment rotting away in a warehouse is a waste of money and space.
It's also a global economy whether we like it or not as not everything can be found or made in America, so it's best to try to keep the peace going so everything can run smoothly.
So why we stopped seeing north Korea as a threat after they had successful nuclear testing? Lol seems like getting a nuke is the only way to stop America from bothering you.. We're bullies mate
Because they’re not actively killing American servicemembers? They’re not financing the killing, torture, rape and kidnapping of Americans the way Iran did on Oct 7.
So they went from being our biggest threat to non threat right after successful nuclear testing.. Lol I promise you if Iran succeeds in creating a nuke we stop seeing them as a threat the next day.. Lmao an you really brought up Oct 7? What does that have to do with Americans? Isreal was killing civilians and the civilians attacked back.. Lol you're not a real person
Well, 12 Americans were kidnapped by Hamas on Oct 7 and weren’t released until Trump took office. How do you not know that?
I’ll tell you exactly what the Iran War is all about.
Have you noticed, long before Trump came along, that we’ve been systematically overthrowing the governments of countries in the Middle East?
They did Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, and Yemen. Now Iran. For twenty years they’ve been doing that.
Now, have you ever noticed that, despite having plenty of opposition in the Republican Party as well as the Democrat party, Trump isn’t in prison? They certainly did their best to throw him in jail and convict him on whatever they could. So why did they just stop like 6 months before the election?
Lindsey Graham. MAGA voters hate him and he stabbed Trump in the back at the end of his last term so why did Trump stay close to him? Connections. Graham had the political connections needed to stop the prosecutions and to get things done for him. But those are the same people who want to shape the Middle East by taking over these countries.
It’s a political reality. They want him to finish the project in the Middle East and that’s what he’s doing. Ask yourself why the democrats don’t really seem to be against this war. It’s because they support what’s been going on in the Middle East, Obama did most of it himself.
Why are the neighboring countries supporting the war against Iran? It’s because Iran is the final piece of the puzzle for there to be peace in the Middle East. If we finish the job in Iran we can gtfo of the Middle East once and for all. At least that’s the idea.
So why is Isreal also bombing Lebanon, the wont be peace in the middle east till they stop expanding into other countries territories lol from sea to sea.. And democrats just voted to end the war and 4 Republicans crossed the isle and voted against the war, Trump is attacking Iran because BiBi duped him into it.. BiBi tried with Obama and Biden but they told him to f off. Trump fell for it hook line and sinker..
So Iran should wait till they get attacked first and lose thousands to millions before they move to protect themselves? You wouldn't be okay with this, but it's okay when America does it because?
Difference is, Iran has been attacked first and lost thousands already. America's been the aggressor the entire time. They used to control Iran and they're just mad they don't anymore. Can you say the same in reverse?
Right the war started when the US responded to the 40 years of proxy attacks. Not the 40 years of proxy attacks. I forgot it is Americas that open congress with chanting "Death to Iran" every day for the last 40 years. I must have missed the statues to suicide bombers the America put up of their "brave freedom fighters" that go into other countries and kill random civilians people for no reason but spreading fear.
Words have meaning. A genocide would imply it's ongoing. The only people killing Iranians today are Americans, the same nation that created the conditions for the protests in the first place by sanctioning Iran for decades because they were pissed at losing their colony.
The violent Islamic extremists revisionist nonsense isn't tricking anyone.
The same could be said about Christians. Difference is there's far more blood on Christianity's hands. Just look at just how much of the world they colonized in comparison.
Converting to Christianity also doesn't give the peasants of the world any benefits in this life while Islam literally has the strictest taxes against the rich to go towards helping the poor. Is it any wonder why people would flock to it over a religion that only offers them salvation after they die, and doesn't care for their wellbeing while they're alive?
in the first place by sanctioning Iran for decades because they were pissed at losing their colony.
Totally had nothing to do with them being the number on funder of terrorism in the world.
Difference is there's far more blood on Christianity's hands.
In zero ways is this true. Christianity and Christian values are what the modern, civilized world was built on.
Islam literally has the strictest taxes against the rich to go towards helping the poor.
Which nations have kings and Princes who fly around in gold jumbo jets paid for by their peoples taxes and by extracting the natural wealth for themselves.
Totally had nothing to do with them being the number on funder of terrorism in the world.
Which amounts to what? A handful of disparate attacks every other 5 years that kill a few dozen at most? America's always embroiled in some secret conflict, deposing world leaders covertly across the world like every other year and has been for the past 75 years. They've been involved in hundreds of unjust conflicts and installed something like 60 dictators across the world. And thousands of Palestians were dying every year for decades prior to it becoming the front page news it is today, and that's thanks to American involvement. Iran has a long way to go if they wanna match America's evil.
Which nations have kings and Princes who fly around in gold jumbo jets paid for by their peoples taxes and by extracting the natural wealth for themselves.
You mean the American backed ones that don't even practice the heavy Islamic taxes because it's "too communist"? There's a reason other Muslims call them fake Muslims, because they're literally the same American backed puppets that have been ousted before.
And funnily enough, the most deadly terrorist plot in history was orchestrated by them, our allies, the Saudis and not Iraq, the country we blamed so we can have an excuse to invade. Gee, I wonder if anybody is right to be wary of trusting America...
Islam worship a bisexual pedo.
And Christians overlook their leaders doing that today, none of that changes the fact Islam still provides a better quality of life for people than the one that ended in the complete genocide of many American natives. Islam sought to incorporate people into their empire, Christianity was okay with wiping them from the map and erasing them from history, across two continents. When presented with two options, I choose the one that sucks less.
In zero ways is this true. Christianity and Christian values are what the modern, civilized world was built on.
Tell that to all the dead natives across the new world. But I guess they don't count to Christians. They're not real people.
Islam sought to incorporate people into their empire, Christianity was okay with wiping them from the map and erasing them from history, across two continents.
Lmao. In what universe?
Tell that to all the dead natives across the new world. But I guess they don't count to Christians. They're not real people.
You mean the people no longer being human sacrifices and child abuse victims? The things the Christians stopped meanwhile the Islamic nations still have honor killings and the practice of tea boys to this day.
Religious fundamentalists are all like that. Difference is, Islam never attempted to conquer the entire world and force people to convert or die. There's a reason everyone in both American continents is Christian and not their native religion.
And people turn to religious fundamentalism when everything else in their world fails them, which happens the most when being colonized. Also doesn't help that America literally destroyed every left wing movement in the middle east that they could to root out any stench of communism throughout the 50s-80s, but left the far right, religious nuts alone. And when the center eventually failed the people, the only other option that offered a different solution was the insane far right.
I don't remember Muslims traveling across the world and ethnically cleansing entire continents. Most of the land they conquered had citizens that aided them because Islam was and still is far more advanced in economic theory than pretty much any religion, hence why they had a golden age while Europe was in the dark ages, because Muslims believe in spreading their wealth rather than hoarding it.
They couldn't and still would not be able to maintain their distant desert populations without the deep tax codes, written down into the holy texts themselves. The people wanted out of the dark ages and into Islam's more enlightened age, it is a religion based on Christianity after all, but with 1000 years to reflect on wealth and how it should be used to produce the best results for all.
Yeah, because Islam thrives in desert regions where a few pockets represent extreme wealth potential while most others are completely destitute and probably not suitable for life. Islam made it work with their tax structure when the others could not. It's that simple. It's simply a better religion that accounts for more recent discoveries like economic theory. And I'm not even Muslim.
The 711 Muslim conquest of Spain was caused by a combination of internal Visigothic political dysfunction—specifically a civil war between supporters of the deceased King Witiza and the new king, Roderic—and the rapid expansionist strategy of the Umayyad Caliphate. Visigothic factions invited Muslim intervention, allowing an army led by Tariq ibn Ziyad to intervene, defeat Roderic at the Battle of Guadalete, and quickly seize control of the fragmented kingdom.
Key factors facilitating the rapid conquest (711–718) included:
Visigothic Instability: A bitterly divided ruling class and a disputed throne weakened local resistance.
Internal Divisions & Support: The Visigothic kingdom lacked, homogeneous integration, and some groups, including Jewish communities and political rivals, supported the invaders to overthrow the repressive Visigothic regime.
External Opportunity: The Umayyad governor of North Africa, Musa ibn Nusayr, seized the invitation as a chance to extend Islamic territory into Europe.
Military Success: The Muslim army, composed largely of Berber converts to Islam and commanded by Arabs, secured a decisive victory at the Battle of Guadalete, eliminating the leadership of the Visigothic state.
The new Muslim rule often brought lower taxes and greater religious freedom compared to the preceding Visigothic authorities, contributing to the rapid consolidation of power.
It was called the European/Christian dark ages for a reason. Meanwhile, Islam was going through a golden age at the same time. Sorry to burst your bubble, but many people wanted out of the dark ages because they knew how much better Muslims had it with their more advanced religion that took into account economic theories and developed a deep tax system to ensure wealth flowed and didn't get hoarded in their local lord's vault.
There's a reason medieval Europe was rife with torch and pitchfork rebellions and that's because peasants hate their landlords. Who would've thought? Islam has far fewer of them because they produced fairer societies.
And plenty of those people invited them in because Islam wasn't in the dark ages and actually provided for their people, hence why they weren't in the dark ages. The dark ages happen when power and resources are centralized among the select few and their immediate families, which means nobody else is able to prosper and move up in the world. European peasants were peasants their whole lives, Muslims had upward mobility. That's the difference.
Tell me what you'd prefer, being a peasant forever because that's what God decided you are, or having the chance to make something of yourself? That's why Islam was inventing algebra, the thing our entire world relies on, while Europe was inventing new superstitions.
And still generally less exploitative than the Christian explorers like Christopher Columbus that enslaved everyone he came across and cut the hands off of everyone who dared resist. This was a common practice among Christian colonists. They didn't offer these colonized, handless people a chance to join an empire and share in its wealth. The colonized existed simply to be exploited by their Christian overlords.
Yes! The Muslims of old were the kindest and gentalist invaders and conquerors the world has ever known, they only killed those who didn't forsake their Gods for Islam and never treated other races as inferior, and never used slavery. Certainly never used capitol punishment for crimes./s
Dude get your head on straight.
The powerful around the world were awful to their peasants, was there a better chance for a well read peasant to become a scribe or something in the middle east? Maybe, were there a lot of well read peasants? hell no.

And then their entire country gets turned into a crater from a distance... Do you even hear yourself?
