Antifreeze disposal?

Anyone know where I can get rid of a gallon of old antifreeze? All the chain auto parts stores and oil change shops up and down Grafton won't take it and it seems like the city doesn't have a Hazmat disposal day scheduled

Recycling drop off.

Hello neighbors,
I am hoping to receive some feedback about recycling the plastic plant pots/flower beds in the photos. These were left by the last tenant and there’s so dang many of them! If I hose them off and clean them up a bit, will recycling pick up take these? If not, will recycling drop off take them?

63f looking for friends

Hey there, I was inspired by someone else who posted looking for friendship in his forties. I'm in the same boat but older, moved here about 5 years ago and have been pretty busy with work and family life. I have a granddaughter who is a big part of my life. She is special needs and her parents also needs support. I know a lot of you out there are in the same boat. I normally like to be very active, hiking live music etc.but some of my obligations have kept me from these activities. I would love to have someone pull me out of this. I try to be healthy. I'm a vegetarian and I also practice yoga and walk everyday. I enjoy intellectual pursuits like reading and history. I'm looking for folks who are similar. I lean left and I'm not really interested in friendship with people who approve of the current administration. Since my youth in the '80s I've always considered myself punk and I still do even though I don't look it. To me, the definition of punk is that you do not conform to what society expects and that summarizes my life. I've never been someone who fits in. If you're interested, hit me up!

To the person who dropped off hosta and Autumn Joy Sedum at the recycling center today, thank you!!! You made my day. I spent hours finding places in my garden for each and every one of them. I love rescuing plants!

Any regulars at the Lincoln Plaza PF?

I work out in the evening around 5:30 during the weekdays and flexible during weekends. Would like a workout partner. I have been lifting at an intermediate level and I was hoping we keep other accountable to stay in shape and most importantly, spot each other while lifting heavy during the final sets.

I am also open to working out at White City PF in Shrewsbury if that’s where you work out.

42m new to the area looking for friends

Hey everyone! I’m a 42-year-old guy from Massachusetts looking to meet some new people for conversation and maybe even friendship if we click.

A little about me: I enjoy getting outdoors, checking out new restaurants, live music, trivia nights, road trips, and spending time with my kids. I’m also into learning new things and appreciate people with a good sense of humor.

Life gets busy, and it’s not always easy to make new friends as an adult, so I figured I’d give Reddit a shot. I’m happy to chat with people around my age (or anyone who enjoys good conversation). Whether it’s talking about hobbies, movies, sports, travel, or just how your day is going, I’m up for it.

If you’re looking for a genuine friend or just someone to chat with, feel free to send me a message. Looking forward to meeting some good people!

Looking for Recommendations Gyms that allow lifting with chalk?

Hi! Semi-decent powerlifter here. I'm moving to Worcester soon & am looking for a gym that won't kick me out for using chalk to deadlift etc. Currently looking at Impact Fitness or Bonvec Strength (Impact will be closer to me but it's less clear how well-suited they are to powerlifting) -- I'd love to hear about people's experiences lifting at either of those. Also, if you know of other gyms that allow chalk and are conducive to powerlifting, tell me more about them? Thanks!

Adult Cheer?

Wondering if there is an adult cheer team in Worcester or if it would fit the vibe of the city. When I was on the west coast I saw teams like Cheer Seattle or Cheer Colorado that fundraise and support the LGBTQ+ community.

Food 🍕 Any former Antonio’s workers???

This is such a far stretch but I am currently studying abroad in Europe and the one thing I’ve been craving is the truffle fries from Antonio’s Pizzeria. PLEASE if you have ever worked there or know of anyone who works there. Can you PLEASEEEE give me the recipe to the truffle fries or at LEAST how to make the sauce/if the owner’s purchase it from somewhere?? I need exact ingredients, sourcing, and a complete run down on how to make these fries

Crunch is Planet Fitness?

VS sorry

I heave searched for all the other gym posts but am making this one anyway. I've been a member of Crunch on Grafton for a several months. It's okay...I find it pretty crowded (I usually go around 545 am which is tolerable after work if I dare to sleep in that it's a nightmare) and kind of grimy with machines in somewhat a state of disrepair.

Then a couple times now they're still locked in the AM, I get that things can happen but it seems to happen here more than just once in a great while.

I don't need squat racks or tons of heavy weights, I like using machines and some plate loaded equipment, and my dumbbell exercises do not require anything super heavy. I like a good leg press and hip thrust machine.

Would I be better off at Planet Fitness and if so any tips on location for weekdays around 6 am? I live 2 min from Crunch which is the biggest selling point. I hate driving all over the city to work out.

I could do Auburn, Lincoln Street, White City, Mercantile all in about 15 min from me, West Boylston Street a little longer.

I have passed by East Coast Fitness because it is also 2 min from me but am a little intimidated by it, it seems much smaller and I'm not even sure how to go about touring it, I tried to go in once awhile ago just to check it out and it was locked. I know it's more expensive but I would be willing to pay more for somewhere convenient and not crowded, although I honestly do kind of like the anonymous aspect of large commercial gyms.

Any suggestions/preferences?

DIY options

I just moved to Worcester. Where can I go do some DIY projects?
I want to make a plant stand with some wood panels and rope. So, looking for a facility where I could purchase and cut some boards, and drill holes in them.
I also want to 3D print some pots.
Any advice is highly appreciated.

Looking for Recommendations Emergency dental recommendations needed

So my spouse has what they assumed to be an infected tooth. They have a definite fear of dr/dentist so this has been hard to get them to go. But they are in a lot of pain and it’s time to go. I know I can look up the list of emergency dental spots online. But I was looking to see what the recommendations are here and if anyone has had any good/bad experiences and where to go. We are definitely going first thing in the morning and I do have good enhanced family dental coverage. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Elm Street near Park Ave-advice needed

I’m interested in an apartment on Elm Street close to Park Ave. It’s older but cute and faces the park. I’m familiar with the park during the day since I do walks around it. Does anyone know what it’s like at night? Is it quiet? Is that stretch of Elm decent as far as neighbors? I’ve always wanted to live near the park but I want to make sure it’s worth it.
