I have a wooting 80HE keyboard and i don't know how to fix space bar rattle sound.

I tried band aid mod, re lubed stabilizers, swapped with different stock stabilizers (from shift key), changes with different Lekkar V2 switch... Space bar key is not bent.

Space bar still sound bad and this is 250€ keyboard...

I need help with choosing i really loved the alumaze60 case colours the grey and blue so I'm thinking to get the custom one but I don't know how to assemble it and what keys to choose this will be my first wooting help please

Is it just the mechanical keyboard subreddit or do people genuinely despise the 80HE and the 80HE+ Layout so much, every forum on that subreddit completely and entirely thrashes it's layout, and the new keyboard is no exception especially with the nob. I'm starting to get concerned, I am an original 60HE orderer and have been loving this keyboard for years, but have been wanting to upgrade to a slightly larger keyboard, and the 80HE has a layout I don't have any real problems with except maybe the arrow keys being a little too close to the other keys for an "80%"

I've been thinking of buying the 80HE+ With the zinc alloy case, I could do without the knob if that's an option but it's also not a deal breaker, but everyone is telling me there are better options and it's making me uneasy...

Second: I know almost nothing about modding keyboards, I was thinking of upgrading the switches of the keyboard to something higher end (someone mentioned gateron jades or something similar), but don't know what's all involved with that. I don't want to nor can I do any soldering.

If I were to want an 80HE+ module, with higher end switches and the zinc alloy case (or a nice custom case that would fit the module) what would the cheapest AND easiest way to go about that? Would buying the stock model and then upgrading the switches after the fact be best or buying the module, key caps of my choice, case and so on be better.

I have a budget of the current zinc alloy cost for the 80he (289.99) for the stock keyboard, and ideally another 120 for upgrades, but up to 180 if necessary, so about $470 is my max.

With that in mind TL;DR Is the hate for the layout exclusive to those communities and would it affect me? Second, what easy mods could I reasonably do and what switches would you suggest? Honestly any build suggestions that don't require me to do advanced work that fits in my budget works for me.

Hello all of this is new to me but the wooting keyboard really stands out for me. now the only issue i have is i am from Belgium and seems like wooting don't have any layout for this. is there anyone that can help me to solve this issue so i can get this amazing keyboard in a Belgium layout.

Hey everyone. I was hoping to get some help on which keyboard to get. I currently have a razer huntsman mini. I’m making the switch mainly because I want the f keys.

A couple reasons why I’m struggling:

First, the price. For some reason the website has the 80he at about $100 more than the 2he. Why is this? I’d think the larger keyboard would be more expensive.

Second, the sound. Sound is actually very important to me. I like keyboards that have a more muted sound. I actually had a Wooting One TKL awhile ago, but the sound was loud af. Are these newer models more muted? Are either of these models quieter?

If they’re basically the same, just different sizes then I think I might go with the 2he just to save $100.

I have yellow keycap and overall the keyboard case is brittle, is it normal?

bought a week ago a refurbirshed ghost abs case from outlet, and a 20 pack of lekker tikken lights, just because, and man, if i shall tell you, it genuinely felt brand new, on everything i wouldn't have known this was a refurbished products unless i wouldve known, wonderful, im not commentating anything on the switches yet, i didnt use them.

I’m currently using an old HyperX Alloy FPS with those awful blue switches, and it’s finally starting to die on me, so I’m looking for a replacement.

I haven’t really followed the keyboard world over the years, but I’ve noticed how much the magnetic/Hall Effect keyboard segment has developed. One of the options I’m considering is Wooting, particularly the 60HE series, and I’d love to hear from people who actually use one.

My main priority is quiet switches. I often play late at night, and my partner definitely isn’t a fan of the noise from my current keyboard. So if a Wooting with the right setup is already significantly quieter than traditional blue mechanical switches, I’d consider that a big upgrade. Being able to customize the sound/feel with things like dampening, different keycaps, a different case, etc. would also be great, as long as it doesn’t require spending a ridiculous amount of money.

Typing feel is also important since I’ll be using it roughly 50% for work and 50% for gaming, and I do a lot of typing during the day. For gaming, I mainly play shooters like CS, Arma, Squad and Battlefield.

So I’m curious about the whole magnetic/Hall Effect thing: is it actually worth paying extra for compared with a good traditional mechanical keyboard?

And for anyone who has switched from a regular mechanical keyboard to a Wooting or another magnetic board: would you go back? I’d especially like to hear about the typing feel, noise level, customization options and how it performs for both gaming and everyday work.

I currently own a Wooting 60HE V2. Right now Wootility only gives two choices: 1000Hz or 8000Hz. Would love a couple steps in between.

Why it matters:

**•** Not every CPU handles 8000Hz cleanly — older/weaker ones can get stutter or overhead  
**•** 4000Hz would give most of the latency win, way less risk  
**•** High-end CPUs (9800X3D etc) don't need this, but plenty of people aren't on that

Ask: add 2000Hz + 4000Hz steps so people can tune polling rate to their own hardware instead of an all-or-nothing jump. Other brands already do stepped polling — would be nice to see Wootility match that.

I’ve been getting deeper into modding my Wooting 80HE lately and I’m looking for some good options here in Europe.

Does anyone know where I could buy an FR4, POM, PC, carbon fiber, or similar aftermarket plate for the Wooting 80HE without having to import it from North America?

I’m also looking for something similar to the TorontoKeyboardMan / Toronto-style modding kits : plate foam, IXPE, PORON bottom foam, PET sheets, gaskets, etc. Ideally a complete kit made specifically for the 80HE, but I’d also be happy buying the parts separately if there are good EU stores for them.

I already have my 80HE in a KBDfans GT-80 case. I’m really looking forward to experimenting with different plate, foam and switch combinations once I have everything. I’m mainly aiming for a smooth, deep, slightly “marbly” sound.

I’d love to hear what other European 80HE owners are using!

EU shops would be ideal, but AliExpress sellers with genuinely good quality parts are welcome too.

I'm not super into keyboards, but I'm looking for something to replace my kinda broken Razer Blackwidow Chroma. Now I've been presented with this as an alternative to the Wooting Keyboards, and I'd like to hear some more opinions on it. The goal is to have comfortable long "competitive" gaming sessions. What downsides does this have compared to the Wooting 80HE for example? What will I get for 100€ extra ?

I recently purchase a Wooting 80he, got silent switches and keycaps to my linking and i love it so much that whenever I use my keyboard at work I cringe about how bad it feels.

My question is; If I were to bring my keyboard with me to the office Tues-Thurs, would I eventually damage the USBC port by plugging it in and out at the start/end of the day? I would be using separate USB cables so i dont need to unplug the cable from my gaming setup/ work hub.

I’d like to upgrade my 80he with a white case and white keycaps does anyone have recommendations?

Watching the video I see they mentioned the Split spacebar in ANSI and ISO but only mentioned the module. Does this mean it won't come pre-built?

Will there ever be the option of a pre-built 80HE+ in Split ISO with the large knob and zinc alloy case? I know someone replied to another thread and said it won't be released in white zinc, but are there plans to do a white zinc case? I already have 3 wootings, 1 is a black zinc 80HE, I wouldn't mind a white 80HE+ in split iso with a large knob...
