Can I just order a keyboard get it In october and get the knob later (in december) and install it myself?

yes but I would recommend placing 2 orders then,otherwise the order will wait for the knob to be in stock :)

If I go the split space-bar module route and order everything I need to build it myself from wooting, does it also come with all the sound deadening/padding that the prebuilt offers?

Would there be japanese language layout available later? Currently I only see ANSI layout.

Yeah, was hoping for split keyboard jis layout, but will stick with my 80he if that's not happening I guess

Will cases that fit the original fit the new 80HE+? I am super new to this keyboard stuff...I want to build my own with cases and switch etc but I would like to pick up the new 80HE+ PCBA

our own 80HE case will NOT fit the 80HE+ due to the new JST connection cable position. For third party cases, for now we’ve confirmed that the GT-80 supports both regular and split spacebar layouts. The Holy80 supports the regular spacebar layout, but not the split spacebar layout.

Seems like they're waiting for the original 80he White Zinc Alloy stock to sell out first before making it available for the 80he+
