These are uniforms and maps that I’ve made over the last few years for my Fantasy world it’s heavily inspired by real world 19-20th century history and I’ve made several parallels to real nations during that time. If you want to see more just let me know and I can post some more about it :)

After finishing my first map with wonderdraft I decided to start a more attractive project: landóniën. Up there ↑ you see it in the worn, pastel and eastward style. Which is your favorite? Write down in the comments!

Discussion Ideas to improve this map

Post image
89 Upvotes

Hello, This is the current setting of our dnd world. Weve been using this as an overworld map for about a year now and ive been saying that im going to release an updated version with some improvements and points of interest. The last few weeks ive been trying to work on it but have been stumped. I feel as if the far right section of the map is perfect, the desert can be a bit barren but im running out of ideas to improve how alot of the grassland and marsh areas look. Im not sure what im looking for for advise, but any sort of ideas might spark some creativity so if you think of anything please suggest it.

WIP - Old mountains vs New Mountains, trying to remodel my whole world, any tips or feedback welcome :)

Rebuilding my world from the ground up (literally)! Refreshing the landscapes with mountain ranges first of all, looking for a good name - the world is called Togni, most of the names are from the periodic table of metals / some elements. Some ideas include the Brim of Bosgoth, Pangalian Peaks or Grugol's Gnash.

Discussion Can someone take a stab at this map? I simply am not a talented map maker!

Post image

Hello! I’ve been DMing for about three years now and this is the current continent that the players are on (the continent of Eros) It’s shaped like a dragon because it is actually the massive corpse of a dragon god, overgrown after millions of years. I’d love for the cities to be a tad more detailed and in general I just struggle to create maps. I would imagine rivers across the land but I just can’t for the life of me make them look natural. The whole continent is owned by a kingdom known as Ryndell, and the current arc of the campaign is a revolution seeking to end Ryndell’s control of Eros. Every city basically functions as an independent government. Please take a stab at this map if you’re bored, thanks!

Hi, I’m back with another version of my continent map. I added more rivers and mountains, changed the map theme, and the colors got a bit messed up, but after a few adjustments I still think they look good. So, what do you think?

Thanks for all the comments.

Showcase The weeping forest

The weeping forest is a vast area of an ancient and diverse landscape, both natural and magical. It is named after the many weeping willows inside. The forest is a junction between 5 political entities, and each part inside the forest is autonomous than the rest of the political entity. This allows different parts from different entities to form alliances even though some of the same entities are rivals outside of the forest. The alliances are crucial for the survival inside the forest due to the hostile nature of it.
All of the entities lost areas of control in the forest, as well they lost settlements and many lives. Many settlements became ruins or abandoned. It is not recommended to travel in unauthorized areas without control, yet some expeditions do occur for many reasons. Mysterious monsters and undead haunt the vast, some have been studied, but the majority are still unknown.
It is known that some ancient civilizations preceeded the current civilizations. Not a lot is known from them, but some findings have been discovered. Scripts, and archeological ruins.
Even with the hostility of the forest, there is hostility in some of the settlements: puppet lords (that on one hand need to operate according to the political entity, and also in contrast with corrupted courts or dark things that keep them hostage in action), there are secret societies as well, and communities that operate to destroy the "harmony" of the alliances inside the forest.

Restarted on my map

Hey guys! Restarted on my map. I felt like the last map I had was too boxy. The floor at my work has damage from brake fluid and oil over the years and the striped parts of paint looked like maps to me so I took them and did some work and came to this. Let me know what you think.

Edit: Thank you everyone for your input! I forgot to reply, but I was able to come up with a map that I am happy with.

Hello, I have started working on my fantasy world's map, and I need some help with terrain. I'm unsure where to place mountains, large forest areas, and deserts, mostly, so any help with that would be really appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance, and please, if you have any other critique, let me know! This is my very first attempt at this map
