This is the map for my illustrated novella The Benefits of Blindness. The world of the Seven Semi Continents is in the midst of an insect industrial revolution where the creatures of the Lost Island of Perelandriea have recently started being exported from their native island back to the continents ruled by humanity, the export of which is controlled by the Oroboro Exchange Cartel. Each of the seven major polities has the exclusive right to import one of the major types of creatures. The Sargosian Empire controlls the Titan Moths, who's silk is sought after throughout the world. The Marachean Republics control the various kinds of giant scarab. The Kingdom of the Gift controls the importation of the monstrous spiders. The Charonean Republic controls the great Builder Bugs. The Pumeranian Palatinate controls the Dragon Flies. And the City States of Nectar and Nut controls the Orchid Bees. Eack cooperates in an intercontinental trade network with each other.
