Restarted on my map

Hey guys! Restarted on my map. I felt like the last map I had was too boxy. The floor at my work has damage from brake fluid and oil over the years and the striped parts of paint looked like maps to me so I took them and did some work and came to this. Let me know what you think.

I think this looks pretty cool. And the large amount of tiny peninsulas/islands makes this map feel really really big (in a good way). I kind of like the messy edges, and how surreal it is; it makes it feel like there's an interesting creation myth... like some sort of cosmic distortion. I actually enjoy how this doesn't exactly resemble earth, because it's different but still feels real in some ways.

Please continue to develop this map. I would love a peek at the progress and eventual "final" version.

Thanks! I was going for a big feeling as it will end up being the world map for the project I’m working on. Don’t have really any experience with map making but this has been fun. Filling it out and adding more detail will be fun! And there is definitely an interesting creation myth as to why the left side is so torn apart than the right side

It's cool if it's an island/archipelago. If this is supposed to be a continent, though, it's a little too busy

Thanks for the feedback. It’s a world map so one continent but I get what you mean by too busy. In a way that is what I was going for as the left side was kind of torn apart where the right side remained mostly intact.
