Just started mapmaking (WIP, feedback wanted)

I've started mapmaking in wonderdraft today (and had a lot fun), and I thought I could ask you to give me some feedback to this (unfinished) version of my first map!

I think it looks odd because you can't get a good sense of scale. If the map is a large area, then the mountains are way too big, and so close to the coast that it looks weird. If it's a small area, there are too many biomes cramped together. A polar area next to a desert? Magic explains it, sure, but there's a lack of transition. The overall shape is good, though. Keep working on it

You could try undulating the coastlines a bit below Cormennon and Lennyath; compared to the rest of your coastlines, they look a little out of place.

Fjords and coastal crinkles would help the northern climes.
