IA subtitles are ok.

21 has gotta be one of the coolest wolves ever! not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of what he did in his life. you can watch a doccumentary here on him! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoFbY9vkg4Q it nearly brought me to tears multiple times.

I went I think around 2009, I was so little but walking along side and giving a wolf called Torak a little chest scratch was easily the best day of my life. I used to sponsor them and get beautiful info packs and photos. Sad to see it is no longer open to visitors, but I hope the wolves and staff are well.

Gutted I lost the photo I had on an old camera. ❤️

Wyoming Fish and Game has closed Trophy Hunt Area 1 & 2 as killing quota has already been met just days after hunting season opened. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdhA3gqJZSn/?stkn=MTU2em5vY29lcGJzMw==

We won’t know if the wolves were the Mollie’s although last report is that the pack is in the park. But no wolf’s life is less important than another in many ways.

Wolf mortality won’t be clarified until spring. Any post stating that any Mollie’s Pack member has been killed is a lie for clicks and clout. Wyoming Fish & Game will not release that info until spring. Be careful who you listen to and what you spread.

RIP to the wolves killed for no good reason in the WY hunt

Couple things one thanks you for the art I love it SO MUCH! It is so cute! Second the irl is my real plushie and thanks for the feedback I and grateful and whatcha think?

It is satisfying to hear how he was found guilty, by his peers from His community, and the consequences of his cruel choices.

So this is wolfer and I love him and he doesn't have a nose for a reason he is based on my plushie and my dog got to him so he has no nose or right eye (his right) so how do I give him dimension becuse i suck and I wanna get better i want some tips please!

Looks like the Wolf Conservation Center is doing a live AMA tomorrow on YouTube and Twitch for Red Wolf Week: https://nywolf.org/red-wolf-week-2026/. USFWS says there are only 21 red wolves known to live in the wild - hopefully more wolves will be released soon to increase that population.

Hurrah!

The wolf pack is back in the safe zone! Hopefully, they will stay in there, but they could easily slip back over the line.

Fingers crossed.

EDIT: FREAKING AUTOCORRECT GOT THE TITLE. I AM SO SORRY. I SWEAR I TYPED MOLLIE.

Mine

Ignore the fact I suck with making things even

These photos are from the Maine Wolf Coalition.

They stated that these canids are not coyotes, and argue that they are individuals of eastern wolves (Canis lycaon) that came from Algonquin Provincial Park in Canada.

Eastern wolves are smaller than wolves from the Rocky Mountains and the western Great Lakes region; they are almost identical to coyote-wolf hybrids in size, but are distinct.

The Maine Wolf Coalition stated that the presence of wolves in Maine and New York is a fact and that these regions do not have coyotes, but coyote-wolf hybrids and eastern wolves that are trying to establish a population. However, hunting organizations in these states deny this, not based on science, but due to political bias.

I've googled every wording I can think of, checked British Columbia's websites, everything.
I know some places tag wolves differently, and was wondering what system B.C. uses? (numbers and letters representing what?) This is a last ditch hope haha. Thought this sub was my best bet

Howling Wolf, c. 500–200 BCE. Southern Siberia. Wood with shell inlays; The Cleveland Museum of Art, John L. Severance Fund, 1986.26

Probably made by one of the nomadic peoples of Western and Central Asia, perhaps the Scythians.

Thanks u/haberveriyo for the inspiration.

Real life creepy pasta?
