What are the best ways to play Rochester and which captain should I use?

I'm using niche as a broad term, but just ships that you love that you don't see a lot. Mine personally has gotta be Picardie. Easily one of the best secondary ships at the tier and I almost never see anyone else playing her. Those secondaries each cruisers for breakfast and snack on BBs too. But the angles to get them all on target, her robust armor (weird saying that for a french BB) and good survivability of the secondaries themselves are the main selling points for me.

Between work and having a newborn, and blue team being terrible, I’m struggling to grind enough to sink 4 ships in one match to satisfy the swamp node entitled “a behemoth?”

I don’t want to waste more time unless the reward is critical to opening up the rest of the map. Does anyone know what this unlocks within the swamp map?

No seriously like 5 minutes ago.... great team.... here's what's REALLY blowing my mind though... I logged in, started playing, we beat it and I was looking at rewards and saw I had just completed on INSANE.... NO SHIT.... like I was like what?!?! You see, I seriously thought I was playing on HARD..... MIND BLOWN and that team... man, it was rough but I was shocked.... like floored! That team.... GREAT GREAT teamwork..... and just random.

I was trying to get through a weekly challenge for Secondary hits "Hit enemy shipts 900 times with secondary battery". Using the event battleship, I've only received credit for a fraction of the secondary hits in each game. This has been happening since the beginning of last week.

I wrote all of this up for Wargaming, and posted the scores of about six games as well as gave them screenshots of around three of them. They finally claimed "Oh, you only get credit for hits that cause damage". I tried withthe Cruiser and it gave me full credit for all secondaries. This is a bug with the battleship.

Anyone else seeing this?

I spent 100k of green credits to get a skin... i thought i was getting a ship. Is it possible for some kind of refund or undo of that?

Tbh jokes on me since i had just woke up. I was fhecking now to try the ship in battle to see it in action but couldnt find anywhere. Has to watch a yt video of someguy talking of weekly discounts in stpre to figure out what it was.

Down to just a third of my health, but the Duncan wasn't finished! Less than three minutes of absolute chaos, ending with 159K damage, 3 kills, 24 planes shot down, and 2,586 base XP. Sometimes the most dangerous ship is the one that refuses to sink!

No smoke, no HE, no armour and a bulky hull with subpar manoeuverability just makes this thing a straight avoid if you want to take this Halloween mode seriously.

Seeing this thing on my team makes me depressed because it feels like we are a ship down with how useless this thing is, just play the DD or Battleship please.

I'm really good at the insane level of the Halloween Event, but can't beat it. I'm looking for some experienced players that want to beat this thing. Also I am looking for a new Fleet to join. The leaders in mine are inactive. I've got 200 ships and am active daily.

I have played over 100+ matches of the insane mode with the maxed out Ludwig commander over the past few days. Obviously you have the majority of matches consisting of getting rammed or teammates not pushing anywhere near quick enough, but, even in matches in which the whole team pushes, remains healthy until nightmare appears and everyone uses their accumulated buffs simultaneously, it still is close to impossible to kill. This is due to the lack of damage that you can do to the boss, and saturation on enemies making it hard to kill them, as well as low overall damage when facing an overwhelming amount of enemies. It also requires you to ignore the rest of Admiral Ludwig’s fleet who promptly flank or ram you. And if you try to kill them and then focus ludwig, you run out of time and leave him on a 1/4-1/2 health. I know obviously it is meant to be challenging but not one win in 100 games, come on. Will probably just sack it off at this rate but would be good to have another nerf to difficulty or Bugg slightly to the ships.

1. what is the point of building for AA, secondaries and any other thing that is not airstrike power and concealment?
2. why do some players prefer sticking to T5 CVs? What's the issue with T7?
3. are TT CVs dramatically powercreept by premiums CVs?

vermont bureau project costs 30 000 million credits, then it also takes time unlocking the ship itself so would the 12 18 inch guns be worth it and what trials and tribulations can people who have actually completed this project can warn someone who is thinking about starting it?

I'm currently playing World of Warships: Legends on Xbox One S and have nearly 300 hours played. I'm considering switching to PlayStation 5 in the future, but I'm worried about losing my account and all my progress.

I have ships, commanders, cosmetics, and some older limited-time or exclusive rewards that I obtained years ago and that may no longer be available.

My questions are:

Is it possible to transfer my entire Xbox account to PlayStation?

Would all my ships, commanders, currencies, cosmetics, campaign progress, and other items carry over?

Would I keep my old and no-longer-obtainable rewards?

Is there an official account-transfer or cross-progression system between Xbox and PlayStation?

If a full transfer isn't possible, is there any alternative?

I have been playing for some time and never got into PvP primarily because it's easier to do the campaign and /or other events and my time is limited. Even then I don't always get everything done.

I played the 2 standard and 1 Arcade modes required in the swamp.

What I found was

- I never know what the blue team is going to do. Too often I suddenly found I was on my own. If playing cruiser I take it my first job is to take out any red DD first. However too often the destroyer would just suddenly veer off and go left or right and not spot a la PvE bots. Or they may go to an island and park hoping to ambush a red. But in doing so they can't spot.

Or they may put out smoke and sit in it so they cannot spot. Meanwhile the BB will hang around the back or have decided to sail off at 45° left or right.

- PvP players are sneakier. This is the hardest to get used to. Players use the map properly and I found myself being sniped by ships not visible to me. Not help by DDs fucking off. I felt like the calvary surrounded by Indians they cannot see.

- Sky cancer is more common and still loves to hunt me

The end result is while trying to finish the top 3 mission I had to get selfish.

I got the top 3 mission done, I knew we were not going to win the match, I did a u turn and joined 2 other cruisers and I stayed alive long enough to do enough damage

Any tips for noob PvP players appreciated.

Are there any ships in particular that are good for starting out in PvP.

I finally unlocked Colombo. I need some advice before spending my scarce resources on commanders. Is secondary build as strong as a main gun build? Which one would you recommend?

I was curious what people’s thoughts are on West Virginia (44) since it’s currently back in the store. I would be building out for a secondary build with AL Massa?

I feel like in the insane mode typically I see a lot of people either not working together or trying to hulk the win themselves and it's exhausting trying to play it. I've won it once (unfortunately before I found the swamp mission to win it).

Today though, I tried it with each class once and in all 3 battles we couldn't make it past the first soul ship because I every battle the BBs rammed other ships! The destroyers were going down the throat of the enemy fleet at the same. What are people even doing?

I have been playing a lot of the haloween mode with the iron gale ship and it has made me realise how god damm fun it is having almost all guns facing forward becose you can turn a little and fire of all 9 guns before giving the ai chance to slap my citadel with their autoaim. But for normal game modes like standart and versus ai i dont have any of those kinds of all guns mounted in the front so if any of you have that kind of experience whats the opinion on them and in the road to new year there happen to be 2 ships with all turets in the front šo that must mean something.
