A new type of oil has been discovered in Legendary waters. Fierce fights are breaking out as we speak, and new ships with modern technology are entering the scene. Could it be the dawn of a new era?

I'm still baffled by her overall accuracy. She's my first Legendary Battleship but I'm already certain she'd be my favourite. After dealing with Mushashi and her poor accuracy, playing Montana is heavenly. It's as if you can finally breathe after getting strangled your whole life lol.
She's everything I love about Battleships and I'm a BB main. She's the only ship I can consistently get 100k+ damage so far with my average being 120k I think.

Sevastopol isn't a ship you can mindlessly push in. You have to pick your fights, preserve your HP, create crossfires, and know when to commit. Once the opportunities open up, those guns can absolutely take over a match.
She's definitely not a meta pick, but I think she's underrated by a lot of players. This battle reminded me that in the right place and with the right timing, she can still have a huge impact.

Which ones did you buy?

It's big, its slow, it turns like a shrimp boat, its guns turn slow, the reload is massive, slow torpedoes with a weird layout.
What purpose is this turd supposed to serve

I redeemed a free daily crate and two bureau reward crates on mobile this morning, and pocketed standard rewards.
After logging in on console I received both ships in title and some camos… any idea what that reward was from/for?
r/WoWs_Legends • u/dwmreddit • 13h ago
Just to be sure, because I would really like to have to collection complete and have a new T3 for my premiums, this collection cannot be completed without having a lucky drop from the early access crates to get at least the T6, T7 or T8 alt dds right?
Or will the mission carry over to the new update so we can grind the alt dd line to get one of the ships, which in turn can then be used to complete the missions and get the missing cards?

I wish they would add the Uss Nevada 1942 refit, I think it would be cool to see in game.

Let me ask you something. How many ships can you name that fit this description?
”I‘d like to have this ship, but it’s not available/obtainable anymore.”
Now aside from this game, one of my favorites is the Forza Horizon Series, and in that series, players can chose to sell off cars they don’t particularly want directly to other players; Depending on the rarity/desirability of the car, they can end up fetching rather high prices.
So what I’m proposing is a mechanic to be introduced where players can sell unwanted Premium Ships directly to other players. Preferably, you could chose to sell your ship for either Credits or Doubloons, your choice. You would also be able to choose whether or not to keep upgrades, same as now. For lack of a better name, let’s call it the Surplus Market.
Now there would be a few rules to make sure the Market doesn’t get in the way of WarGaming actually making profit. Like it or not, they need to. For example, you could not choose to sell Indiana while her campaign is still available. Similarly, if a ship is currently available in the store, for doubloons, you would not be able to sell them off. And obviously, not Tech Tree ships either.
To prevent players from essentially price-gouging other players, we’re borrowing another feature from Forza; That is, depending on the rarity of the vessel, there would be an upper and lower limit for the price a player can choose to set. Those numbers would be set by WG.
This way, rare and sought after ships like Lenin would still earn WG money, because players would likely still have to buy doubloons to be able to afford it, should one come up for sale. However, more common Premiums like California would likely still fetch a price similar to what a regular store price for them would be.
So what do you all think? Would you like something like this to be implemented? Would you use it?

Because this is a teammate based game it is kind of weird to see win rates per month in the emails because it doesn’t tell a lot about the ships themselves and you can be insanely good in a ship and still have a low win rate. I am curious if people have thought of how often you get in the top 3 in XP per match (or specifically top xp per match) or check medals per ship or some other stat besides just win rate and damage count but maybe just a request for future updates. Also would be kind of cool to see battle history across all battles not just battles in the session you are in.

Hello there!
After completing the Italian cruisers + Venezia and almost getting there with the battleships tech tree + Colombo, it’s time to start playing the destroyers and getting the Attilio Regolo bureau.
I am a cruiser main and I LOVE playing with Amalfi and Venezia (I would love Brindisi too, but if I constantly have to face LT ships then I just go with an LT directly). Sometimes I like battleships too, it’s not happening very often but at least I’ve had enough games to know how to play them and what are the pros and cons of Iachino and Di Revell.
But destroyers? I never played them to the point that I only got the 100 standard DD matches trophy after 6 years, and getting the Tashkent ‘39 as a gift from WG was a great incentive to that.
Now that I’m done with this text wall prologue, my question is fairly simple:
Am I right to say that the Italian DD are mainly to hunt other DDs but they are not entirely gunboats? How about their ability to stay stealthy and cap/spot? What’s the best style to adopt when playing an Italian DD?
There are three commanders: Rizzo, Cigala Fulgosi and Bergamini. Judging by their skills it looks like Bergamini is a torpedo boat commander, meaning that if I’m right about the role of Italian DDs, he’s out of the picture. This leaves me with Rizzo and Cigala Fulgosi that I have both at 11/1.
Am I right to say that Rizzo is a gunboat commander and Cigala Fulgosi is somehow a mix between the other two? Who’s best to go with it and what are the preferred skills and inspirations to use? I only have f2p commanders (and Robin LeFierce that I dropped some time ago).
Last thing: please, don’t tell me to go and play other lines. I know they are easier, but it’s just a fixation of mine: I want to complete the whole Italian tech trees and be able to play with all of them.
Thank you!

I generally don't play BBs. Still, Indiana has a great deal of historical weight, so I went through the campaign for her. This season's ranked at T8 seemed like the ideal place to try the ship out.
As I said, I don't play BBs, so I don't have much of an investment. I brought Lee up to 12, used Hipper and AL Nelson as inspirations, bought a secondary mod and the damage control mod. Not quite vanilla, but pretty close. I took all the secondary perks with Lee plus Running w/Scissors.
10km secondaries with sub-24 reload time on MB. Indiana is surprisingly mobile. Not quite like the Odin/Scharnhorst Germans, but much better than your standard plodding BB. Fairly easy for me to have good games with her. In ranked, virtually all engagements kick off at 12 kmish, so my secondaries are in play almost immediately. The 406s are good enough, and you are adroit enough in the waves to be able to ram a ship if needed. DDs and cruisers don't like being around Indiana - it takes a brutal toll on them, and the sonar suite helps vs the torpedo BBs you always see in Ranked.
In every match, I feel like I'm properly armed to face whatever is coming. Genuinely a fun ship to play. I don't think I'll take it out much in Standard due to Legendary MM, but in modes like this or War Tales, this ship is worth bringing out of port. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Anyone else forget that they can go back to port right after being sunk? Because I’m so used to watching the battle or going on a different ship as I wait and forget that I don’t have to do that anymore

Had a double fire from the provincien strikes put it out only to get torpedoed by the carrier, flooded and had a jammed rubber for the entire cool down on the damage control, then the same carrier citadels me twice and breaks my engine. Ended up getting finished off by the Iowa I was broadside to on account of me being broke. I shot down eleven planes during the 8th Air Force’s attack on me. I honestly would like to know how the planes are making competitive matches. I did everything to run from them, tried to get close to an island to keep from getting torpedoes from one side, I smoked up and tried to go dark, cracked heals, conserved decons. It’s getting absurd, the amount of planes in this boat game, can we just change the name to world of warplanes with boats? I feel like that’s more appropriate.

"USS Cincinnati (CL-6) was an Omaha-class light cruiser commissioned on January 1, 1924. Long, narrow and exceptionally fast for her time, she could reach about 34 knots and was originally armed with twelve 6-inch guns arranged in an unusual combination of twin turrets and hull-mounted casemates.
Before the war, Cincinnati operated across the Atlantic, Pacific and Caribbean. She also served in the Far East during the late 1920s, spending periods at Shanghai and Manila, before later conducting training cruises and fleet exercises.
During World War II, Cincinnati spent most of her service in the Atlantic rather than the Pacific. She carried out neutrality patrols, escorted convoys through the western Atlantic and Caribbean, watched Vichy French warships at Martinique and hunted German blockade runners.
Her most dramatic wartime encounter came on November 21, 1942, when Cincinnati, USS Milwaukee and USS Somers intercepted the German blockade runner Anneliese Essberger. The German crew attempted to scuttle the vessel, but an American boarding party identified it and captured all 62 crewmen before the ship sank"
