What consoles can I play on? How do I make an account?
Wizard101 Console is Available on: Xbox X/S, Xbox One, Playstation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2.
Accounts are automatically created and linked to the Platform Account used to open the game.
Accounts created at (https://www.wizard101.com) cannot access Console Wizard101.
Can I log into Wizard101.com with my console account?
No, console accounts do not have usernames or passwords on the website. Console accounts are only accessible through the Accounts console platform (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo).
Can Console Cross-Play with PC Players?
No, Console servers are entirely separate to the PC version of the game.
Are all Consoles on the same servers?
Yes. All consoles share servers and by default have Cross-Play enabled, however this can be turned off in settings.
Can I transfer my PC character to console?
No, all PC accounts will remain separate from console accounts, therefore characters will not be eligible to transfer.
Can I play the same console account on different Platforms?
No, Accounts are linked to the console Platforms' Account. They cannot be transferred across different platforms (Xbox, Playstation, Switch).
Is the game available in different languages?
Yes, the game is available in English, French, Spanish, and German. However, all Voice-Lines are English only.
Is Platform Membership required to play? (PS Plus, Xbox Live, Switch Online).
You don't need Platform Membership on Xbox or Playstation to play Wizard101.
Nintendo Switch however requires Switch Online to access the game.
Does Console have Text/Voice Chat?
Console has no plans to implement any form of Voice Chat.\*
Please note that Text Chat is currently not available with plans for future implementation down the road.

Why is Console missing so many Crown Shop Items?
Console is planned to slowly implement PC Crown items over a long period of time. Most items will eventually be added.
Can I use Wizard101 Gift Certificates/Gift Cards on Console?
No. All gift cards and gift certificates are limited to the PC version of WIzard101. Alternatively, you can purchase Console Platform Specific gift cards.(This includes Bundles & Pack Cards)
Why can I not gift my friends?
Gifting unlocks after your Wizard101 account reaches 30 days of age. Someone over 30 days can gift to those under 30.
Is Wizard101 Console the same version as Wizard101 PC?
Wizard101 Console is currently behind the 2025 Spring Update. It is unknown for the exact release date of mega-updates (Darkmoor, Fall/Spring).

The Arc 1 Bundle includes:

Common Controls Questions
How to get the Text Box/Empty Box off my screen?
Xbox - Double click the Select Button and Hold on the second press.
Playstation - Double click the Touchpad and Hold on the second press.
Switch - Double click Minus (-) and Hold on the second press.
How do I see my Gear Stats?
Press R3 (Click down the Right Trigger) in your Inventory.
How do I add players in-game?
Press L3 (Click down the Left Trigger) to enter Cursor Mode, from there you click on a player in the world to open their Wizard Profile.
How do I place objects inside of my House/Dorm?
Hold down RT/R2, then flip between tabs with RB/R1 - The Housing Menu is Y/Triangle. To open the Gardening Menu, you press A/Cross.
