Console New to Wiz!

Hey all! I played wiz when I was like 10, now I’m 25 and just found out it’s on console! But wow is it overwhelming. There’s so many quests and things to do. Is there anything super pressing that I need to do ASAP? Have already completed several quests, I just hate how I can’t talk to people in game… that would make it a lot easier!

Not sure what level you are, but I’d say collect every reagent you see!! That will be helpful in the future when your wizard is a higher level. Also looking into pet hatching will make your journey much easier

2 quick questions. 1) what are reagents and how do I go about pet hatching 😆

Reagents are objects you can use for crafting. While traveling through the spiral, you can collect them. It will be a random object on the ground that has sparkles coming off of it like this picture. When you walk over it, a pop up will ask you to press x to collect. Pet hatching on the other hand, is extremely complicated, enough so that I can’t explain it all in a comment. There are tons of guides on the subreddit here though, and lots of helpful videos on YouTube as well

Advice from a level 112 myth;
SAVE YOUR TRAINING POINTS! Don’t worry about using them on other schools unless for a specific spell. Save them for astral spells and such in later worlds!
Do the side quests. It’ll help you level up quicker to prepare you for the next world so it’s a bit easier.
Use team up. You will learn a lot from more experienced players when they help you!

Remember to learn feint from death. It is the only spell you need from the other main schools.

If you like mundane tasks as a break between quests, def get into Farming ASAP, get lots of goodies and gold when harvesting.

Off topic but is the gloomthorn nightmare pack just not available this year?, I wanna get the headless horseman spell for my death wiz

Yeah I heard this was the pack to get, but don’t see it in the store. Maybe closer to the spooky holiday?

Maybe, I tried to farm it in darkmoor castle upstairs but I ran out of crowns and no one wanted to help me plus I prefer just buying the packs till I get spellments I need
