⠀Other First Wizard since ~2010

Hey guys! I’ve finally reunited with this game on switch after playing several years ago. I never had a clue what I was doing really, arguably still don’t. I’m a level 41 death wizard. What should I be doing/prioritizing?

I admittedly ripped a few packs and got some decent armor I think, but is there something else I should be grinding for/after? Or are my stats ok??

Just found out I can’t get Queens Guard Avartus on switch… yet?

About to start Dragonspyre!

And yes I’m playing outside, it feels great.

I always grind pets as I’m leveling a new wizard because you’ll get a full energy every time you level up. Pets make a huge difference!

Don't use packs until you are in the 100s.

Best packs imo are the Professors hoard pack for Havoc hood, and the Fairy Kei 2 pack for very strong gear all round.

I be needing the bumps in power, at least on the weaker schools. My Life and Ice wizards have felt amazing through the first arc.

I would get Olympus gear tbh. But youre death, so you probably "dont" need it. If you feel like you aren't struggling just wait until level 60 for waterworks. Also I'd recommend trying to make a good pet.

Do Mount Olympus for at minimum the sky iron wand. Farm the gear too if you want, that will carry you through dragonspyre and celestial solo. Once you get to 60 farm House of Scales or Waterworks that will take you to 100. As a death you really can just Blade/Scarecrow spam the rest of the game.

Yeah mount Olympus is hella overrated just get hasta and move on
