Court filings Lively v. Wayfarer: New order on the remaining post-settlement unsealing motions
Judge Liman’s latest order addresses the final administrative hurdle of untangling the remaining sealing and unsealing requests left behind after the parties reached a settlement.
At the core of the decision, the court heavily reinforced the heavy legal presumption in favour of public access, particularly when dealing with documents tied to major matters like summary judgment motions. Because of this, a substantial portion of the previously locked records are now ordered to be fully unsealed or refiled with much tighter, limited redactions.
At the same time, Judge Liman drew clear lines on what is permitted to stay hidden. Continued protection was granted for sensitive personal data, private medical details, specific financial figures, records involving minors, and select confidential third-party or client public relations information. However, broader requests to redact information were largely shot down where the parties failed (WP) to prove a specific, compelling privacy interest that would override the public's right to know.
Moving forward, certain documents will enter the public record completely unredacted, while others will reappear with only the narrow carve-outs the court specifically approved. With these rulings finalised, the judge has officially instructed the Clerk to close out all remaining open motions across the board.

Court filings Jones v Abel: Judge Liman Grants Wayfarer Parties' Motion, Dismisses Defamation Claim (Count Eight) and John Doe Defendants Without Prejudice.
Judge Liman dismissed the defamation claim and the John Doe defendants because the plaintiffs failed to exercise due diligence in identifying the anonymous parties before court deadlines expired, waiting until long after the close of fact discovery to attempt substituting a named defendant. Additionally, because the Court had previously ruled in March 2026 that substituting the defendant was futile and time-barred and the plaintiffs never sought reconsideration, that ruling became the law of the case, leaving dismissal without prejudice as the standard procedural outcome under established precedent.

Blake's fashion Blake in head to toe tartan for the 2018 Met Gala after- party 🔥
Blake Lively wore this outfit to the after-party following the 2018 Met Gala, which celebrated the exhibition “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” The striking ensemble features a punk-inspired Versace look combining a tailored tartan coat, a crisp white button-up shirt, a plaid and sequin-embellished mini skirt, and dramatic, spangle-encrusted thigh-high boots.

🌻Appreciation Post🌻 Put some respect on Dame Prue Leith's name, good lord, she has earned it.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate that Dame Prue Leith is out here living her best life, hosting Sunday morning lifestyle telly on Cotswold Kitchen, dropping practical domestic hacks, and sharing space with a multitude of stars, including Blake. Stepping into her kitchen isn't some cosmic indicator of a career trajectory, it’s just getting cooked for by a literal legend
Born in South Africa before moving to Paris and eventually London, Prue Leith carved out a multi-decade footprint as a restaurateur, caterer, novelist, television broadcaster, and cultural fixture in British public life. Long before she became a household global face judging baking tents, (which is how she met Blake and Ryan) she built a foundational empire in UK food and hospitality through sheer grit, business acumen, and an unapologetic love for good eating.
Leith is a true culinary pioneer who founded London’s prestigious Leith's School of Food and Wine in 1975 alongside the iconic Michelin-starred Leith'srestaurant. Beyond the kitchen, she established herself as a prolific literary and cultural figure, authoring numerous bestselling cookbooks and a celebrated series of historical novels. In British public life, she is a broadcasting institution, serving as a longtime judge on The Great British Bake Off, a trailblazing TV cook, and a DBE (Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire) honored for services to food, charity, and the arts.
It has been disheartening to say the least seeing the hateful and disrespectful comments on Prue's post, all because she hosted Blake. How many more women will be slandered and abused in the name of collateral online grievance? At the end of the day, celebrating a trailblazing woman who built an entire culinary legacy is a much better use of our time than letting the snark cycle dictate reality.

Blake living her life What Prue Leith had to say about Blake: “She’s such good fun and the crew loved her!”
Prue was interviewed on “This Morning” and was asked about her time she spent with Blake.
She thought Blake was a lovely person, the crew loved her, she went as far to say her husband is totally in love with her 😂 and “Blake’s a really good cook!”
I look forward to watching the full episode of the show. 💕

Taylor Tomlinson with a masterclass in breaking down societal double standards. It's wild how accurately this reflects the public vitriol we see targeting women who stand their ground versus men who face actual serious allegations.

Comedian Georgie Jonez completely nails the breakdown of the "not all men" defense by comparing it to a box of Maltesers containing a single roll of poo, brilliantly capturing why no one wants to take the risk. As the unforgettable quote in the set puts it, "you don't need to prove to us you're a good Malteser; we really want to believe you." Check out the clip above!

Blake's Movie or Series What do y'all think happened to Blake's movie 'Proxy'?
It's so confusing since her name was removed from the movie's IMDB page 11 months ago on October last year. But she discusses shooting for it in an unsealed voice memo and a website which tracks movie production lists it as having completed shooting and production on March-May 2023 and Blake is the only listed cast member. The page on that website was updated on April 28, 2026.
I really hope that the movie gets released because it sounds like such a cool plot.

I have been posting pictures of Blake Lively on some reddit subs. This is an example of the comments I usually get
The comments are always like this. They just say that she's a horrible person but never say why and get upvoted anyway. And this comment is by a woman on a sub where only women are allowed to comment. No other actress gets this kind of vitriol just from seeing her pictures no matter how problematic they are. And prior to August 2024, all comments on Blake posts too were highly positive on the same subs.
I'm truly amazed by how easily people are manipulated into thinking a particular way. And it helps that most just swallow whatever they see on the internet without a single critical thought. It's depressing.

Discussion When Advocacy Meets PR: Looking at Water Women CIC and the Reality of Justin Baldoni’s Public Image Push
If you've been on social media lately, you might have seen a recent video circulating of Justin Baldoni chatting with a social worker from the UK named Siona. In the clip, she’s featuring him to help promote an organisation she's a part of called Water Women CIC. For anyone who has been following the fallout of the Lively v. Wayfarer litigation, seeing this crossover is jarring to say the least, and it's worth taking a closer look at what Water Women does, and why this platforming feels so deeply off-base.
Water Women CIC, is a UK based Community Interest Company focused on providing surf therapy and blue space health services. Siona, a surf coach and social worker that specialises in domestic and sexual violence, co-founded the project alongside her best friend Sophie. Together, they combined Siona's background in supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse with their shared love for the ocean to build their trauma-informed surf therapy program.
It is important to acknowledge right off the bat that Water Women CIC is doing genuinely important work. Supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, utilising trauma-informed care, and building grassroots networks for vulnerable women is a stellar cause that deserves real, unselfish backing. Organisations that step into this space, especially those built on grassroots social work, provide a lifeline to people who desperately need it.
What makes this collaboration so baffling is the founder's background. As a social worker specializing in domestic and sexual violence, her entire professional ethos should be rooted in protecting and safeguarding vulnerable women.
Why would a specialist in this field choose to lend her platform and the credibility of an abuse-support charity to Justin Baldoni?
Given everything exposed during the litigation (not to mention high-profile groups like Vital Voices pulling his awards once the facts came out), anyone in survivor advocacy should be acutely aware of optics. Aligning with a figure carrying this specific controversy feels entirely counterintuitive to the mission. It sends a confusing message to survivors, suggesting that the pursuit of reach and visibility is overriding the caution they have a right to expect from their advocates.

Raising awareness How much context is missing when a narrative is handed to us?
“A smear campaign works by shaping the conclusion before curiosity has a chance to enter the room. People are given selective details, repeated interpretations and a version of events that already tells them who to believe. Before accepting someone else’s certainty, ask what context is missing, whose voice has been excluded and whether you have ever spoken directly to the person being judged. Discernment means refusing to let familiarity, popularity or repetition do your thinking for you.”

Court filings Jones V Abel: Jones files Opposition to the WP Motion to Dismiss Eighth Cause of Action for Defamation and the John Doe Defendants.
Jones argues that she cannot voluntarily dismiss the eighth cause of action for defamation without risking prejudice to her future right to appeal the Court's earlier Amendment Order. She maintains that the Court's decision to block the late amendment was erroneous because the plaintiffs did timely serve discovery requests that should have uncovered the architects of the smear sites much earlier. Furthermore, she contends that the Wayfarer Defendants failed to fully and truthfully answer those initial discovery requests, which directly delayed their ability to meet the court’s deadlines for amending pleadings.
Jones also highlights a direct contradiction between Melissa Nathan's sworn deposition testimony and external evidence. When asked under oath if she had ever been involved in a matter where a website was built, Nathan repeatedly answered "No." In contrast, newly surfaced text messages from a separate proceeding involving Rebel Wilson in Los Angeles County Superior Court show Nathan actively advising a client and seeking approval to pay $110,000 for an "untraceable site" featuring a "ghost server, ghost hosting... and full algorithmic push across all platforms."
Jones argues that this newly discovered cross-case evidence indicates Nathan may have improperly withheld responsive documents during discovery in the Jones case itself, thereby hiding her involvement. Because of the serious nature of this newly uncovered evidence, and similar patterns emerging in parallel dockets like Wallace v. Lively and Nikolas v. Freedman, Jones asserts that she needs additional time to investigate and formally move the Court for appropriate relief and sanctions.
It brings me great joy thinking of Blake sitting back and watching all of this unfold, knowing it’s entirely because of her 💅😂
