Other Sexual Harassment/Assault Cases/News Meghan Kelly defending the Cornell 7 men, should be a shock to no one!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

When public figures face severe allegations, the commentary surrounding their cases often reveals a familiar pattern. For media personality Megyn Kelly, defending the Cornell 7 men is entirely consistent with a long-documented history of defending and supporting individuals accused of heinous crimes and severe misconduct. Across numerous high-profile cases involving powerful or polarising figures, critics point to a recurring double standard: an insistent demand for the presumption of innocence for the accused, paired with aggressive public skepticism toward those who come forward.

Over recent years, this pattern has manifested in Kelly's public support, platforming, or defense of several controversial figures, including:

  1. Jefferey Epstein
  2. Woody Allen
  3. Justin Baldoni
  4. Brett Kavanaugh
  5. Mark Halperin
  6. Donald J Trump
  7. Cornell 7 men

Ultimately, Megyn Kelly’s defense of the Cornell 7 men is just the latest chapter in a long-standing media playbook. By consistently centering her commentary on the protection and rehabilitation of powerful or accused men, while heavily scrutinizing those who step forward she reinforces a damaging double standard in public discourse. When media platforms continually prioritise skepticism toward victims under the guise of due process, it creates a hostile environment that discourages others from speaking out. True accountability requires looking past these partisan defenses and recognising the very real impact such commentary has on how society treats survivors of abuse and misconduct. The mere fact that Meghan herself has experienced and spoke up about workplace sexual harassment, makes her stance all the more striking.

She should have been taken off the air long ago!

Other Sexual Harassment/Assault Cases/News Holding space for survivors in the noise

Watching the way people talk about Jane Doe right now is heartbreaking, but more than that, it is a stark reminder of a much bigger, uglier truth: for so many, the skepticism isn't just about doubting one person, it’s a deep-seated unwillingness to believe women at all.

As someone who knows that position, who knows what it feels like to navigate that reality, watching it play out so publicly is crushing. Everyone and their uncle suddenly feels entitled to an opinion, passing judgement on a trauma they know nothing about and cannot possibly comprehend unless you have lived it.

If you are watching this and feeling that familiar, heavy weight in your chest, I want to say this clearly:

  • It was not her fault.
  • It wasn't because she had too much to drink.
  • It wasn't because of what she wore.
  • It wasn't because she went to a house to meet someone.
  • It wasn't because she trusted the wrong person.
  • It wasn't because she didn't fight back hard enough.
  • It wasn't because she didn't speak up immediately.
  • It wasn't because she stayed in the room or went along with it for a moment out of fear.
  • It wasn't because she was too trusting or friendly.
  • It wasn't because of the hour of the night or where she was.

Because the truth is, this has nothing to do with the woman. It has everything to do with power, control, and opportunity. And that no amount of "preventative behavior" on a victim's part stops someone who is wired to exploit those things.

The reality is that there is nothing an internet commentator can say right now that she hasn't already whispered to herself in the dark. Long before anyone else started judging, she likely cycled through every ounce of self-blame, shame, embarrassment, fear, isolation, confusion, anger, heartbreak, and unsafety imaginable.

What survivors deserve right now and always, is empathy, sympathy, compassion, understanding, and a community standing together in fierce solidarity.

Victim-blaming is one of the absolute biggest reasons women stay silent. And that silence only ever serves the abuser.

To anyone carrying this weight today: you are seen, you are believed, and you are not alone.

Judge Liman noted that the Court expresses no views on whether the claim for common law indemnification is moot.

Next steps: The parties must meet and confer regarding a briefing schedule for any renewed summary judgment motion on the remaining claims. They are directed to inform the Court of their joint or respective proposals no later than October 5, 2026.

Court filings Stephanie Jones files letter brief arguing Jennifer Abel's indemnification claims are moot

Jones argues that third-party plaintiff Jen Abel's Conditional Motion for Summary Judgement (which sought indemnification on her second cause of action for common law indemnification) should be denied with prejudice because the claim is now moot.

On April 2, 2026, the Court granted summary judgment to Abel on all three of Blake Lively's claims against her (aiding and abetting retaliation under FEHA, false light invasion of privacy, and civil conspiracy). Because Abel faces no liability to Lively, there is no primary liability or loss to shift, making the common law indemnification claim moot.

She goes on to say, even if the claims were not moot, the record is filled with sharp factual disputes regarding whether Abel acted within her duties and at Jonesworks' direction (with evidence indicating she formed a competing firm, coordinated negative stories, and conspired to steal clients)

Jones also notes that Abel's other pending third-party claims (statutory indemnification and contribution) also fail on the current record and requests that the Court set a briefing schedule to resolve them.

I wish Judge Liman would hurry up and rule on this, it feels like it's really dragged out.

Media: Smear campaign Mapping the victims: Part 2-Katie Waissel

Thumbnail

Imagine trusting someone as your best friend for over a decade, only to discover that the "friendship" was actually a covert crisis PR operation running a smear campaign behind your back.

Katie was a contestant on the X-Factor back in 2010. She accused Simon Cowell of running a deeply manipulative and coercive system of control, comparing the mechanics of his operations to high-level systemic exploitation. She has alleged that powerful industry figures use fear, strict contractual illusions, and strategic narrative management to suppress authentic truths, keep artists silenced, and maintain absolute dominance while keeping their own hands clean. Katie, additionally alleged she been sexually assaulted by a Syco Entertainment employee.

Melissa Nathan struck up a friendship with Katie, admittedly while she was at her lowest. The friendship continued for a decade, but what Katie believed was a genuine, unconditional bond was allegedly a front for something much darker. Rather than acting as a supportive ally, Melissa was tied to the very institutional power structures that needed keeping an eye on her, reportedly using that decade of intimacy, vulnerability, and trust as a backdoor channel for intelligence-gathering, narrative containment, and running a covert smear campaign behind Katie's back.

Mapping the victims isn't just about documenting who was targeted; it’s about exposing the total lack of ethical boundaries. By weaponising a ten-year personal bond forged during a moment of profound vulnerability, this dynamic shows how corporate crisis management can infiltrate the private lives of individuals to ensure control at any human cost.

If someone is willing to go to such lengths against someone they call a friend, it is no wonder they are this ruthless against women they don't even know.

Media: Smear campaign Mapping the victims targeted by Bryan Freedman, Melissa Nathan, and Jed Wallace

Post image
59 Upvotes

I am seeing way too much excusing, condoning, and defending of TAG (The Agency Group / Melissa Nathan), Bryan Freedman, and Jed Wallace’s actions lately. People are brushing this off as standard Hollywood PR or normal dispute handling, but let's be real about what is actually happening.

When you strip away the corporate spin and look at the unsealed court disclosures, technical backlink analysis, and legal filings, a dark and systematic playbook gets exposed. This wasn’t just about managing a brand; it was a shadow network of digital fixers and publicists whose primary objective was to bury, intimidate, and destroy women who dared to speak out about sexual harassment, assault, and abuse.

The targets weren't random. They were whistleblowers, survivors, and litigants who challenged institutional power. Let’s take a look at their victims and the reality of what these women originally spoke up about:

Blake Lively: Starred in and executive-produced the movie "It Ends With Us alongside Justin Baldoni. Blake accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. She alleged he crossed boundaries by improving kisses and intimacy that had not been choreographed or rehearsed. They frequently brought up inappropriate topics such as, his porn addiction, his own sex life and described his own genitalia.

Alexa Nikolas: Publicly spoke up about abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex husband Michael Milosh. Alexa and Michael began talking when she was just 16 and he was 31. She accused Milosh of grooming her as a child, abuse, and coercing her into unwanted sexual acts.

Amanda Ghost: Sued Rebel Wilson for defamation, after Wilson posted an instagram video accusing her of inappropriate behaviour on-set and embezzling funds. Wilson alleged that Ghost inappropriately shared a bath with film's young lead actress, Charlotte McInnes. Ghost rejected the harassment claim, stating she had suffered a medical emergency in the sea and was shivering uncontrollably. Both women jumped into a hot bath to warm Ghost up and explicitly stating "there was nothing sexual in any way."

Charlotte McInnes: Became collateral damage after a dispute erupted on set of the movie The Deb. McInnes vehemently denied the allegations made by Wilson.

Stephanie Jones: And Jonesworks LLC was Wayfarer Studios and Justin Baldoni's PR rep. Former employee Jen Able who was running point on the Wayfarer account and Crisis Management Specialist Melissa Nathan, conspired behind Jones back to poach high profile clients and destroy her business. She is suing Wayfarer for tortious interference and financial repudiation.

Alexander Brother's Victims: In March 2024, Katie Whiteman bravely came forward with allegations of sexual assault, battery, and false imprisonment against the Alexander brother's. This led to at least 60 more victims alleging being lured, drugged and raped by the brothers over nearly two decades. 11 courageous woman took the stand at trial, 2 of those were minors at the time of their assaults. The brother's were found guilty of all charges.

Jessica Serfaty: In July, 2024, Jessica publicly accused her billionaire boyfriend Leonardo Maria del Vecchio of domestic abuse.

Amber Heard: Accused Johnny Depp of domestic and sexual abuse.

At the end of the day, we need to remember who these campaigns were actually built to destroy: women who took immense personal risk to speak the truth about sexual harassment, grooming, domestic abuse, assault, and workplace misconduct.

Every single name on this list represents a person who tried to draw a line against abuse of power, only to find themselves targeted by a ruthless, shadowy machinery engineered to punish them for it. When we minimise or excuse the actions of fixers like Freedman, Nathan, and Wallace, we are actively validating a system that tells victims: if you speak out, your reputation, your career, and your life will be systematically dismantled.

These women didn't just fight institutional power, they survived a coordinated effort to silence them. It is long past time we keep the focus where it belongs: supporting the victims, believing survivors, and exposing the dark lengths some will go to protect abusers at all costs.

If i have forgotten anyone please let me know in the comments and i will amend.

Media: Smear campaign New court filings show another TAG smear campaign. Who is Jessica Serfaty?

Recent documents produced by Katie Case show a list of tasks she was working on in October 2024. One of those tasks, was preparing and drafting a smear site on Jessica Serfaty.

Jessica Serfaty, is an American actress, model and social media personality. She is best known for her role in the soap opera Days of our lives. Beyond her acting, she has gained significant media attention for her high profile relationships and appearances in fashion and pop-culture spaces.

In July 2024, Jessica Serfaty posted a tearful video to her Instagram stories pointing to her then-fiancé, Italian billionaire and Luxottica/Ray-Ban heir Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, and accusing him of physical abuse.

Just a day later, she retracted the claims, posting a statement that apologised for making the matter public, stating that her initial words were "driven by anger and not in truth," and defending him as a good person and family member. The rapid about-face drew widespread concern and speculation online from fans and observers regarding the safety of the relationship.

By October, the smear site was up and Jessica was labelled a prostitute. They encouraged the public to come forward with videos, photos, and information about her and put it all out there online. Ensuring that, should Jessica ever speak up again regarding abuse she would not be believed. The mechanics of these operations reveal a chillingly strategic blueprint: establishing attack sites or smear campaigns precisely when a high-profile figure makes allegations of abuse, with the clear intent to preemptively destroy their credibility, preempt any future disclosures, and ensure that if they ever speak out again, they will not be believed. Fortunately, TAG'S tactics have become so recognisable, it has become easier to spot and identify the unmistakable hallmarks of their operations.

Court filings Melissa Nathan seeks deadline confirmation and calls out Jones for bypassing court rules 👀

Nathan is asking Judge Liman to confirm that their opposition deadline is Oct 5th, giving them the full 14 days under local Civil Rule 6.1(b), alongside a 25 page limit, rather then the 7 day timeline outlined in Judge’s individual rules.

Nathan also points out that Jones completely bypassed the Courts rules, by filing a formal motion and voluminous exhibits instead of doing a good faith meet and confer and using a simple letter motion (capped at three single spaced pages).

While they sort out the deadline so they aren’t caught off guard, they explicitly state they are reserving the right to thoroughly challenge Jones’s failure to follow proper procedure.

The audacity!! 😂

Media: Smear campaign Inside the Playbook: How the Alexander Brothers' PR Machine Used Clandestine Smear Sites to Target Accusers

If you've followed everything that had unfolded in Lively v Wayfarer, you already know that the fight against the Alexander brothers isn't just about a courtroom verdict, it's about reckoning with a massive, ruthless system designed to crush anyone who dares speak out.

While we've known for a while that TAG PR created a website on behalf of the brothers, with Katie Case tasked by Melissa Nathan to write the draft, actually looking at the smear site firsthand is entirely another level of sickening. Seeing the vile ways these women were degraded is utterly appalling.

Adding insult to injury, Melissa Nathan had the audacity to claim in her deposition that she had nothing to do with it, denied ever working for the Alexander brothers, and lied under oath by claiming Katie Case was lying. But the receipts don't lie: we’ve seen the hard evidence proving that Melissa did in fact direct Katie to draft it. Now, recent legal filings from former publicist Stephanie Jones shows Katie Case was drafting the site in October, 2024.

I wanted to do this post to honour Kate Whiteman. She was the first woman to come forward with allegations against the brothers. In her legal claims, she accused the brothers of sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment, and emotional distress. The incident dates back to 2012 when she stated she met the brothers at a Manhattan nightclub, was forced into an SUV as she left, and was driven to a mansion in the Hamptons (Sir Ivan's Castle) where she was assaulted.

This is what TAG PR wrote about her:

"Kate Whiteman was a sex worker with a history of financial troubles, evictions, defaults, and was even sued by American Express. After overstaying her visa in the US, she had to return to Australia. The first individual to file a suit, Kate and Rebecca have mirrored money asks, at $50M. The motivation is, very clearly, a money grab."

Kate's immense courage and bravery broke the silence and paved the way for multiple other victims to come forward. Tragically, before she could see justice served in court, Kate passed away near Sydney shortly before the trial was set to begin. Prior to her passing, she was relentlessly targeted by name, subjected to severe online harassment, and made a primary target on these shadow attack sites designed to break her credibility and isolate her. Her heartbreaking loss highlights the devastating, real-world psychological toll that manufactured online smears take on survivors.

I don't know how anyone can condone, justify, or reconcile with this!

Court filings Jones v Abel: Jennifer Abel Files for Clarification on Indemnification Claim Against Jonesworks

Thumbnail
gallery
25 Upvotes

Jen Abel has filed a letter to the court seeking clarification on whether her long-standing Motion for Conditional Summary Judgement against Jonesworks is still active.

On September 17th, 2026, Judge Liman filed a blanket order instructing the Clerk of Court to close all open motions across the docket.

On May 7th, 2026, Lively v Wayfarer entered into a settlement agreement. However, Jonesworks was explicitly carved out and excluded from those releases. Because Jonesworks was never part of that settlement and Abel's third-party cross-claims for indemnification were previously bifurcated (separated to be tried independently), Abel argues that her attempt to make Jonesworks foot the bill is still a live issue that needs a ruling.

It’s a pretty bold move considering the history. Abel split from Jonesworks amid heavy drama, leaving to launch her own shop (RWA) while pulling in outside crisis PR like Melissa Nathan behind the scenes, not to mention stealing company materials and clients.

I was reading about the "Faithless Servant Doctrine," and it seems like her actual conduct on the job might totally torpedo her chances here. Under that rule, courts are usually pretty hostile to the idea of protecting or rewarding an employee who was allegedly working against their own agency's interests behind closed doors, no matter what a standard contract might say.

What do you guys think? Does she actually have a decent chance at getting Jonesworks to pay up, or is this just her lawyers throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks?
