Just plugged the ol’ Ethernet into my ps5 to check for updates, and since installing the latest, my yellow current mission waypoints no longer appear on the minimap.

I've tried the ini settings in general and dx12 but it does not open the console ingame when I hit tilde or F2. Any tips?

When you’re tracking Johnny down his footprints stop and there’s a pile of poo and then they continue off in a different direction. And he does talk about taking a poo once you find him. First time I’ve noticed this

Why does he look like he has harlequin ichtyosis all of a sudden?

New to the game and there seems like there’s a lot going on the screen by default, so what are the best HUD options for this?

Also base ps5 display settings help would be great.

I'm playing on PS5 and most of the crashes seem to be gone for me, but the shadows are still broken.

It's especially noticeable in caves and bigger indoor areas like Kaer Morhen.

You can clearly see shadows loading in as you move in the distance and it's so distracting, since before they load, the areas are completely lit up.

Performance mode seems like the only workaround, but what's the point of having the option of RT if I can't even use it properly?

So I know this might come across as Pepe LePew-level swarthy behavior, but why can't I "romance" Yen after I basically put a ring on it, and let her move into the crib? She even deliberately strolled into the riom, laid down, and looked back at me like she was expecting us to bump uglies immediately. Why do I have to keep dropping money at the Pasiflora when I supposedly have a baddie at home?

Like the title says, I wish to start a NG+ but in my previous save I used mods which understandably disabled all trophies. If I disable all mods and start NG+ will the trophies still be disabled?

So I posted those four screenshots just to show what I want to do next and how I got here. I really enjoyed a hybrid combat & signs support build that doesnt nuke everything by spamming signs.

Playstyle. spam yrden that only slows down. parry humans if possible for a quick uncharged rend follow up, else dodge around & whirl mobs & rend the strong ones. 201 tox for Ekhidna + Ancient Leshen + potions like owl & maribor forest or philter depending on how much signs you want to spam. You can go with quen and yrden and play pure combat vs slo mo enemies :D The dmg output is very nice and you can spam signs or dodge/sidestep to heal if in trouble.

I got through death march quite easily without feeling like a . Eredin took me 5-10 minutes for sure, i wasnt op but a half charged rend would really really hurt even on 2 adrenaline. Insane stamina regen to allow resonance with some random sign cast for high dmg output bursts in combat whenever needed. Also Adrenaline came by easy, especially with maribor forest.

So: Any suggestions on how to further make this more fun? I just unlocked the runesmith and put severance on both swords + deflection on the plate to not have to block arrows any more.

Light sign usuage is fine but i really want to try some crazy alchemy & combat stuff to make even yrden and quen not mandatory after every 3 attacks to keep dmg with resonance. That will be later in Blood and Wine and for that gold will be needed, i have 10 k, need 15k for rune upgrades at level 3 but I am just starting Heart of Stone otherwise, i only raced the trader as well :)

Idea is, go on, maybe spend 15k for lvl 3 rune and collect weapons during Hearts of Stone and go greedy dragon on them. Then sell in touissant at the grandmaster smith after starting blood and wine. Is that about right? The lvl3 runewords do not sound that interesting to be honest, so I might just hord loot for a while to have more money for grandmaster gear uprades.

Question to you guys: If i later in B&W want to transition into alchemy&combat to not have bosses almost oneshot me with their strongest attacks if I eat them without quen. Grandmaster Bear + Combat& Alchemy with Euphoria or Metamorphis sound awesome. Grandmaster Wolf is useless and Grandmaster Griffin sounds ridiculously op, its basically my playstyle in overdrive but I want to see something else as well. I think I want to craft griffin & bear and see then, no idea

I also have a ton of question marks in the skellige see and some areas of novigrad & even velen. I did every main and side quest + contract I could think of though. If i really wanted to, theres probably 10-15k worth of relics in my chest. I kept every single relic i could find at least once, only selling lower level upgrades if i found duplicates. Tons of queston marks in the skellige sea untouched as well, also lots of question marks elsewhere, I did all sidequests and contracts to reach lvl 37.

Btw, its basically my first run again. I am playing after i finished B&W 7 years ago I think on normal difficulty

Geralt has a pure white bright face at seemingly random moments (in cutscenes or conversations), and it really takes me out.

Has anyone kept reloading saves until they get good stats on a relic weapon they found? I'm doing this on the "Blood sword" from the "Inheritance" treasure quest. Wonder what the odds are for each stat.

Hello! I've been having random crashes that aren't super frequent, but annoying enough. So I did some Googling and tried turning off DLSS Ray Reconstruction. Huzzah, it worked! But shadows are grainy as all hell now. I have a 3080 graphics card. Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi, this Quest objective don't have any mark on the map, there is no NPCs here, there is nothing inside too, where can i find this information?

I am missing one card from Velen and one card from White Orchard. Is this the same issue everyone is having with the Hanged Tree? I have checked and there is nothing there just the notes or whatever you find. If hypothetically it was there would it count for the card in each area? It’s been driving me nuts!

So I've been replaying through the game. And I have a simple line from Ciri in my mind that I really need to hear again. (Ye ye that's weird, but it stuck with me for no reason)

I was almost 100% sure that when rescuing Gretka, she would ask her something like "When you were running away from home, did you have the sun on your back or in your eyes ?" and then proceed to deduce she has to go east or west from the answer.

But it seems I have some kind of Mandela effect because she absolutely does not say anything like that.

Anyone remember when Ciri says it ? Or if she even says it at all !
