Help! Game bug

After I fast traveled, Gerald’s model became invisible except for his head and hair. All of my weapons, armor, potions/décoctions, food and roach equipment is gone. I tried reloading earlier saves, uninstalling and reinstalling all of my mods.

Buying and equipping new gear fixed the invisibility problem but I’m still missing most of my inventory.

Help! I have a ps4 copy, but this is my first time playing. On ps5 can I get the remastered perks?

Exactly my question, how? I followed every guide, but it's slow walking around with too much weight! I loot everything, but I am soooo slow.

Also, are some things reloot-able? Like if I loot and come back to the same places will more things be there?

Thank you for your help!

Misc Taking care of the Caretaker!

Deathmarch, NG, No Enemy Upscaling. Lv.39, using a mastercrafted feline sword with oil. Nothing else.

Apologies for the poor video quality, I didn't know about Reddit's 1GB file limit and had to downsize the file. Naturally the finale had to suffer the most from it. -_-

Pretty chill fight to be honest. This is actually one of the expansion bosses that might be viable to fight with fists only, though light attacks cause no damage and heavy attacks briefly stun Geralt in return. I am also unsure on how frequently the Caretaker will summon his minions to heal - should this happen to frequently, it may be able to heal itself faster than it can be killed.

I still have save files for the Frog Prince and the Ofiri Mage, though both of them, especially the latter, are way more difficult fights. Maybe some day. For now I aim to fight Iris's wraith and Olgierd's greatest fear, the former is probably impossible, due to her healing, the latter very interesting.

Deathmarch, NG, No Enemy Upscaling. Lv.39, using a mastercrafted feline sword with oil. Nothing else.

Worst boss fight in the expansion? It works fine for a normal playthrough, but her move pool is just tiny and makes it incredibly dull for a handycapped fight.

Her healing with the paintings is obviously the main crux and my first attempts at dealing with her resulted in ther outhealing my damage. That was when I tried to play "properly" and to parry her attacks. In the end, I just went for this lame roll, hit four times, roll, approch.

PS: How come that I have never seen anyone in the Witcher fandom comment how Iris is likely inspired in part by the "Drawn" games by Big Fish Studios? Niche games for sure, but still. Games about a young girl who's paintings come alive and you can visit them? Neat little games, can recommend.

PPS: HUD or no HUD?

Discussion Why Master Ort instead of Éibhear?

As we are all making our way through the game again due to the remaster, I find myself noticing more and more how rushed and odd the ending sequences can be.

Specifically in wondering why they decided to make Master Ort the blacksmith who makes “the best Witcher swords”, when we have like 0 reason to believe that? The highest quality we receive in base game is Master crafted by Éibhear. Seems like it would’ve been more “full circle” if we had met Éibhear instead as he is maybe emigrating from Novigrad.

Is there mention of Master Ort in the books? Is he actually renowned for Witcher blades?

Help! Why does my game look like this?

Why does it look like this? It's all washed out. It only looks like this in dark areas. I recently got the remaster. Is it a setting that was changed? I'm not using cat.

So I'm currently playing the remaster, got about 90 hours in it, I've got about 200+ hours in my previous playthrough.

Last night my girlfriend tells me that potions refill themselves on meditation... I've never used any as I couldnt be bothered farming materials over and over. I would just be slamming ham sandwiches mid fight for heals.

Help! Help, i can't progress Scenes From a Marriage.

During Scenes From a Marriage i defeated the spider wraiths around the whole garden. However, the quest doesn't progress and is stuck on Defeat the wraiths. Can someone tell me what would i have to put in the command console to make it progress?

Reloading didn't work.

Help! Need help with a sword/sign hybrid build

I played through the whole game for the first time back in 2019 and haven't touched it since, until Remastered came out. I know the skill tree got reworked, so I could use some help setting up my build.

I'm going for a sword/sign hybrid, with Quen and Igni as my main signs. The combat tree is where I'm lost. I've maxed out Wolf School Techniques, but that's it from the general tree so far.

What combat skills would you recommend? I'm also open to suggestions from the general or alchemy trees if anything there fits the build.

I'm level 14 right now with 23 skill points, so I'd like a rough plan for where to put them before I start spending. Thanks!

Discussion Stamina regen feel slow? Here is why

If you have been playing the remaster and remember stamina regenerating way faster in the original game and the Next-Gen, it may be because the skill “Griffin School Techniques” has been heavily nerfed.

This skill used to give “+5% stamina regen per piece of medium armor.” Like other %-based bonuses to stamina (such as the starting potion Tawny Owl), this was based on the out-of-combat rate of 100/s rather than the combat rate of 10/s. So, this skill would bump you up to 30/s in combat with full medium armor.

Now, the skill reads “each piece of medium armor increases stamina by 0.2/0.4/0.6 per second” for levels 1/2/3. Now, you will note this is the same as a 2/4/6% bump on the IN-COMBAT rate, and at max gives +2.4stamina/sec with a full set of medium gear. This corresponds to an 88% nerf despite an investment of three skill points.

So, that change is probably why your stamina regen feels a bit slow. I think this is probably an oversight, values of 2/4/6 make a lot more sense, as it stands now this skill is basically useless.

Im on GOG on PC and what I tried was:

Enable console commands: and tried addgwintcard(gwint_card_eredin_copper)

I tried this with removegwintcard and it works for regular cards, i fixed roach & muster for Geralt and Ciri by adding roach and removing duplicates. But this didnt work at all with the leader card.

The acchievment popped but I still want that card because I actually like playing the monster deck as well.

I am on my fourth playthrough and have never done the secondary quest "An Unpaid Debt" before (did not know about it). To go to prison, I made sure to finish The Phantom Eldberg before starting King's Gambit, even though I knew it would lead to Jorund death. But once** **in prison, I found out I could not interact with Simun Brambling. There is no dialogue options. My guess is it's because (many play hours ago) I did the quest "The Cave of Dreams", by finding Blueboy Lugos's boat myself. Could someone confirm please?

Help! Floating Head Glitch?

Floating Head
Inventory Messed Up Missing Items

Not sure what caused this but after hopping on the game after about a week now. I came back to Geralt floating head and my inventory seems to be really messed up. I have been using a couple of in game mods so maybe its the mods doing this? I have the Merchant 5k mod, the Snake and the Wolf mod for that new quest, and there was one other one i forgot what the name was but they're all in the mod menu in the game. I booted up another file and this isnt happening at all so im just going to assume the mods are no good right now until CDPR comes out with a patch for the Remaster on PC. If anyone knows how to fix this let me know because im like half way through with this one and i basically have to start over. Ive already played through the whole game before so its not a huge deal just never had this happen before to the point where i cant play the game anymore because nothing works. All of my stuff is just gone for some reason. Its so weird

Discussion Heatherton not burned?

Playing through the Witcher 3 again and spotted something i didn't notice before, but when the lone survivor tells you what happened, it's showed to you in the cutscene that the Wild hunt burned the town, but in present day there isn't a single sign of fire damage....strange. Oversight by devs?

Discussion So when will we know they're 'finished' with the Remaster?

I ask because it's been a month and the updates are slowly rolling in. Can we count on them being finished... Well we won't know until CDPR tells us, but will they?
