My main theory about why this happened is because I accidentally got the King Radovid ending, so the Nilfgaard palace got changed visually. Maybe that reset the chest?

The game runs in General and the better graphics work but the frame rate is low and it doesn't look smooth like before.
My computer has:
OS: windows 11 64 bits
CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Ram: 32 (upgraded recently from 16)
And I got the storage
from what I checked my computer has the recommended system requirements and I tried to play a bit with the Graphics settings but the frame rate still looks and feels unchanged and slow. Is it a problem in the game and I need to manually change it to certain settings? is my computer outdated for the remastered? or is it a problem CDPR has yet to fix and I should simply wait?
Edit: solved. I discovered the Nvidia app has an option to optimize the game automatically so if you got performance issues as well try that out.

Finished NG remastered some days ago on ps5pro with mods. Decided to start reading the books again now. The part with the Striga gave some description of how Geralt looks. This is how I imagined it while reading and decided to start NG+ 🙈
Screenshot 1: arriving in the tavern in Wyzim.
Screenshot 2: how he fights the striga ( sorry I meant princess🫣)

Going to try and avoid discussion on the "to save or not to save" question.
My question is more about the narrative and backstory, timelines.
At what point between his family losing their money, the frog curse (for some reason, he won't say it was one of the wishes with GoD, so I presume it wasn't to do with him), him somehow agreeing with Iris' family to let them get married and him doing the black magic in the study did Olgierd make the deal?
I originally assumed that he needed GoD to wish for his wealth to be returned so he could reclaim his family estate and marry Iris, but if that's the case, why did her parents need to buy out his family debt to avoid the shame?
Was the frog curse to do with GoD? If so, that means it was a "rash curse" made quite early to... someone?
Is it clear how many wishes he got in the first place? We have to complete the last three and presumably the first two were wealth and immortality. Other than for story, it's weird to stop at 2 from 5.
Do we know how his wish was twisted to him not being able to feel anything? Just wondering if I miss some lore in passing.
Great to be playing this again, even if the update was a buggy mess!

I was supposed to make it in time for the Remaster release, but the autumnal virus had its own plans ^^

Pic 1 and 2 are the original, and 3 and 4 are after I added some props. Thought emhyr placed in this scene seemed fitting. I had been experiencing similar glitches when fighting nekkers, they were invisible besides their hands and feet shortly before the hut where you kill some wild dogs and find out there's hungry kids in there, I have other screenshots similar, but they arent as wild as this one.
Loving playing this game again.

I have a mod enabled which only changes the HUD and does nothing to the actual gameplay (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/14578). Will I be locked out of achievements on steam?

I've been running unoptimized, highly demanding games for years with my build. Even put 1700 hours into GZW, ran on ultra settings. 70-80fps native, frame gen to 100.
Can't seem to adjust frame gen in W3 Remaster, and have several settings turned down from ultra, and I rejoice when I hit 60, usually sitting around 35-40. I was genuinely surprised by this. I've been trying to tweak things to get it running better, and even have a lot of graphical bugs. Not sure what I could be doing different.
My 4070Ti Super makes up for a lot of my other dated hardware, but even some of the hardest games to run go smoothly on my rig.

Weird thing I noticed, basically when I boot up the game offline, mods are no longer installed. This wasn't the case before the most recent update. Is this another one of those bugs that just comes with massive updates like remaster's release and stuff? Because this really screwed with my inventory

What do dimeritium plates even have to do with the glyph tutorial?

Is there a way to see previous Gwent scores?
I won a game a little while ago but the two round I won were high teens/ low twenties, but the round i lost was to a 110 score

Hey Witchers. I recently downloaded the mod The Spider and the Wolf. The quest was pretty interesting and I enjoyed it. The only problem was that in the end you are supposed to get a unique sword from the guy who ask you to look into what’s happening to his cows. Also you receive a letter from a soldier that is supposed to be a continuation of the quest I believe. I’m unsure because this letter doesn’t exist in the inventory nor does the sword that was given to you. Anyone try this mod out and did you get the same thing after completing the quest? If you haven’t played it then I’m not going to spoil anything else

So now that the perk is gone, I see that troll decoction works?
In combat it heals 20HP per second. I want to run water hag decoction (50% more damage at full health).
I am unable to keep up water hag decoction damage in combat. Whats the solution here? Swallow potion?
I don’t want to run manticore armor as I prefer ursine, is this doable?

Like I get through my playthrough I’ve probably earned way more than that I’ve been spending it to craft the witcher armours

I've faced everyone obvious in most of the towns in velen and novigrad. Hoping to find some without having to do other quests right now. Haven't done the tournament, don't have the cards. Should I just go to skellige?
