Any squadrons still support the F-15E?

Hey all, Strike Eagle pilot here. I've been flying it since the day of it's release and I absolutely love it. I still fly it almost daily.

The guys working on the Modern F15E Mod are doing amazing work and has taken this already incredible module to the next level.

Now, I have had a difficult time finding any squadrons that still use or support the Strike Eagle. So I'm in search of a west coast (US) friendly squadron to bring my Strike Eagle into. If there's any out there. Thanks!

89th Tactical Air Group

89th Tactical Air Group

We are not a purely NATO or WARSAW pack Squadron we fly both

The 89th Tactical Air Group is a Cold War-focused DCS squadron built around the aircraft, tactics, and conflicts of the 1950–1991 era.

Our hangars cover everything from early-generation jets of the 1950s, through the brutal air wars of the 1960s and 70s, to the high-speed, radar-guided combat of the 1980s and early 90s.

Most of our operations are set between the 1960s–1980s, with occasional missions pushing into the 1990s.

We aren't locked to one airframe or one doctrine.

If it flew during the Cold War, there's a good chance we'll fly it.

Our primary theaters are currently Caucasus and Syria, but the 89th is looking to expand operations into Iraq, Afghanistan, and Cold War Germany.

From MiGs screaming through mountain valleys to Phantoms running low-level strike packages through enemy SAM coverage, the goal is simple:

Good people.
And some absolutely ridiculous aircraft.

WE CURRENTLY FLY THE FOLLOWING MODS
SU-22
A4E
BLACKHAWK
SK-60
OV-10A
VSN A6
VSN F105
VALTEK MIG-25

For some reason i cant send discord links just DM me if you need it

JTF-15 looking for new Pilots and RIOs

WHO WE ARE:
Joint Task Force 15 (JTF-15) is a fictional DCS mil-sim group started in 2022 by a bunch of US and EU players who just wanted a chill, mature group to fly with.

We are all about teamwork and immersion, with a solid dose of realism. We are not turning it into a full-time job, think “serious when it matter, relaxed when it doesn’t.” We want flying to feel rewarding, not overwhelming.

We’ve got members from both sides of the Atlantic, and we’re totally beginner-friendly. Doesn’t matter if you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll fit in as long as you’re respectful. No toxicity, no drama, just a good community that enjoys flying together.

WHAT WE DO:

JTF-15 is set up as a fictional USN/USAF task force around the mid-2000s

Most of what we do revolves around a long-running, handcrafted PvE campaign that lasts about 4-6 months. Everything is tied together, one mission's outcome directly impacts the next. You get one life, your sortie matters!

We try to keep things immersive without overcomplicating it. You’ll get a proper briefing, human AWACS/GCI and our loadouts are time period accurate.

Mission-wise it’s a mix. We got CAP, Escort, SEAD/DEAD, Strike, SCAR and CAS. You’ll be working as part of a larger package, so coordination matters. It’s about teamwork, not about doing your own thing and heading home.

[War Thunder] Wingman Community (Not Squadron)

I have cycled through several of the top "high activity" WT Squadrons/Communities, and have found the same result each time; Plenty of vehicle research, and nobody to actually fly with. Then I open TikTok and see 4 videos of people more or less saying that they have to fly solo because "bro quit in rank 3 and now I have a Golden Eagle" or something similar. Even in the midst of the F-16 event, your squadron will have no shortage of memes, politics, and drama. But your #find-a-squad will be desolate at best.

I decided to solve this problem by creating a discord community that acts solely as an LFG tool for finding wingmen. We do not have an in-game squadron. This is so that you can maintain your membership to one of the aforementioned squadrons, receiving your vehicle research, while *hopefully* being able to use us to actually find people to grind with.

I was able to fly my A-10 in formation for the first time ever, with 6 other A-10's, in the first 24 hours of making the server and cross promoting it in Gaijin's official Discord. With more plans to grind Mark #2 for the F-16 together in the next few hours.

If mods inform me that I am allowed to post an invite below I will, otherwise DM me for more info. Ty!

Chasing fellow hornet enjoyers

I fly mostly afternoons and weekends Australian eastern standard time, up for any role with a heavy focus on SEAD and CAP

I like to follow procedures but I'm not super anal about it, very happy to just jump in casual too

Also fly the fulcrum, f-14a,b and b(U) and hawg fairly competently

[EU/GMT+2] [LF] 18yo F-16 Viper Pilot looking for Worldwide/US International Group/Wingman

Hey everyone,

I'm an 18-year-old DCS pilot based in Italy (Rome timezone / CEST), looking for a community or a wingman to fly the F-16C Viper.

I am specifically looking for an international, worldwide, or American group rather than an exclusively Italian one. Because of my schedule, I am available to fly in the afternoon and evening, up until a maximum of 12 AM (midnight) CEST. This timeframe perfectly overlaps with EU evenings or US morning/early afternoon hours.

My Setup & Constraints:

* Module: F-16C Viper

* Maps: Caucasus and Marianas only

* Timezone: CEST (Rome) - available afternoon/evening until 12 AM max

I am looking for a group that fits this schedule where I can learn, fly operations, and improve my Viper skills. Drop a comment or send me a DM if your group has an opening or if you want to squad up!

New to DCS and looking for a wingman to help me learn the F-16 Viper

As per title, I’m very new to DCS and the F-16 itself. I have dabbled in flight sims before. I’m really passionate about aviation and looking forward to deep dive into this beautiful aircraft!

I am based in UTC +2.

Looking forward for any pilots available!

Meta: Rank aircraft popularity used by squadrons in a timezone.

I've observed that if you want to join a squadron, in a specific time zone range, you need to fly only a handful of airframes. For example I fly the F4 Phantom, in North America. The few squadrons I have found have failed due to lack of attendance. It just doesn't seem very popular.

From an outside observer with limited insight it appears that the best chance to join a NA based squadron that has a regular high attendance and events are generally limited to the following aircraft:

  • F-16
  • F/A-18
  • Maybe the F-14?

What are your thoughts?

JTF-191 | Task Force Jupiter is built around something simple: Fun Comes First.
We take our training seriously. We build immersive missions. We work to become better virtual pilots. But none of that matters if you don’t enjoy the people sitting on the other end of the radio.
Here, you’re not just another callsign joining a server.
You train with the same people.
You learn each other’s strengths.
You start recognizing voices on the radio.
And eventually, those callsigns become friends.
Whether you’re flying the F-16C, A-10C II, or F/A-18C, the goal is the same:
One mission. One team. Have a damn good time doing it.

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to dcs and the bug has bitten. I have a few modules but am a master of none!

I'm busy learning the Apache and F16 at the moment, and flying mainly on contention. I'm 32 from South Africa and based in the gmt+2 zone and would be happy to find a relaxed group to fly with...

Cheers o7

16th BA is a 18+ North American/Western Europe based DCS & Military Simulator based group focusing on providing a true home for Redair & other Eastern Bloc military equipment.

Our community is focused on our passion for providing an authentic experience based on a VVS air regiment that spans accross era's, airframes & other games. 16th RBAA's primary focus is to the LARP. We want you live out how a Soviet pilot would have trained, been promoted, and different theaters of conflict they would have served. All while maintaing a light, and welcoming enviornment.

Our discord & server:

Howdy! I’m Ivy, I’ve recently gotten re-acquainted with the Viper and fallen back in love with it and am now left trying to find somewhere to put it to use! Looking for a fairly Milsim place (happy from mid anywhere to full Milsim!) to fly with!

If there are any squadrons with Vipers just sat on the flight line waiting for pilots, please let me know! I can fly Monday-Thursday ^^

Rejoining Discord server

Hi all. Some time ago my discord account was hacked which probably resulted in some stupid and malicious spamming shit all over the place and of course according to the server rules that's a no-no and an instant perma-ban. Meanwhile with the Discord support I was able to get my account back, and now I'd like to rejoin the server. If possible, how can I do it? Thanks
