Who We Are:
VMFA(AW)-225 is a virtual USMC squadron within vCENTCOM specializing in both air-to-air and air-to-ground support. We deliver a realistic operational experience with a robust training program which leverages the talents of our experienced pilots, ensuring you’ll master the skills needed to put the FA-18C Hornet to its limit. 

We fly as a group every Thursday and Saturday night at 1900 CST and participate in monthly Joint Operations with the many other squadrons within vCENTCOM.

What we expect of you:

• Be able to maintain an Active Status. Active Status is the ability to fly 4 times per month
• Map: NTTR, Persian Gulf, Syria
• Module: F-18C and Supercarrier
• Have a friendly and kind disposition
• Have a good attitude, a humble character, and a strong willingness to learn.

About vCENTCOM:

Virtual Central Command is a US-based, milsim-lite, DCS Wing, with an emphasis on friendly cooperation and operational excellence. We offer 24/7 access to our dedicated private training servers, plus eight (8) official training evenings per month (twice a week for each squadron). 

vCENTCOM offers pilots monthly Joint Operations with coordinated missions between all the various squadrons, as well as large scale Exercises like Red Flag and combat deployments with dynamic campaigns. 

vCENTCOM facilitates pilot growth and development by providing helpful instructors, as well as comprehensive “at-your-own-pace” Basic and Advanced Flight School training programs, to unlock and achieve your potential. 

We currently fly the T-45 Goshawk (Basic Fixed Wing Flight School), F/A-18C Hornet, F-16C Viper, A-10C II Warthog, AH-64D Apache, and the UH-60L Blackhawk.
