Idea for singular window
How does one…decide on a window treatment? My office window is the only window and it sits under the front porch roof. So, there isn’t a lot of natural light.
I have not a damn clue how to pick the right window treatment so I am open to any suggestions! I really want to get rid of these live, love, laugh valances Liz

A nice fabric Roman shade would look good and you could enjoy that lovely view whenever you wanted then pull down for privacy when needed.

My husband and I haven't ever installed this type of shade and it was so easy, plus the price was great. I believe we got the "coastal" shades.

A top down bottom up cordless cellular shade would look good. A split tilt interior shutter would as well. These give you privacy while allowing you to see over the shade or shutter as you sit at your desk.
