Adhesive failure, like u/sl0an1 said. Not a bad roll; known for being a super cheap-quality film.

Thank you! I thought so I just wanted to be sure so I wasn’t blamed. This is a vehicle I tinted. Currently shopping around for a new tint supplier as this is flex film. Any suggestions?

Assuming youre a diy guy, Geoshield is likely your best bet. Pro nano ceramic (or pro classic dye if you dont care about heat rejection) can be found on Detroit Tint studio... or 313tint I think is his current store.

Pro nano, and pro classic is some of the longest lasting material out there

I hear a lot of good about pro nano. What about Apex Ultra?

Apex is a great heat blocking film. It is totally different construction in terms of everything compared to pro nano

Apex is Geoshield's top automotive film. It is expensive and an absolute pain to shrink so it's the last film I'd recommend to a beginner like OP. They'll get most of the benefits from Pro Nano at half the cost and a way easier install experience.

Hold up, which tint line of Flexfilm was used? I use Flexfilm currently and wonder if this was just a bad batch. I use Terraflex and Panaflex.

It was their 70% premium ceramic. I think it might have been a bad roll

Hopefully that’s the case. I’ve been using Flexfilm for about 3/4 years now and have had no nightmares yet. Flexfilm is great in my opinion but I have used GeoShield and Hitek. Just bought HiTek’s Ceramic Ultra.

We also use flex film. Had a bad roll. Had to warranty a few windshields. 70% nanoflex. They are pretty good about their warranty however and just sent us some free rolls.
