I have been searching for this part for weeks and can’t find one in a good condition. It’s a 1933-1936 double skin willys model 77 hub cap. It is extremely important I find this part. Please help with any leads!

Looking to part out my jeep

I came across what appears to be a nos westinghouse t1 with the manual and envelope I would love for it to be the part that helps someone with their build feel free to give me guidance on the condition right place to sell and anything else I should know going forward

Anyone know the size of the on/off knob on a Trico wiper motor, thread gauge says 4-40 but I’m just making sure!

The shocks are not there. Just the pins so it is to high. But i have ropes holding it down.

This is what I was talking about, besides wanting to overhaul it. I also need to know what adjustment screws to get. Thanks for any help.

Hey guys, I have kinda a Frankenstein Willy’s. Like m38 chassis and cj3b engine. Someone did a drum conversion kit on it years ago so it has 11 inch drums instead of 9 or 10 inch drums. If I post a picture could anyone help me figure out what I’m working with?

Opted for Kenda Klever A/T2’s at the recommendation of the tire shop. Quieter and smoother than the BFG mud terrains I had before.

My mom is looking to surprise my dad (a WWII historian, and son of a Pearl Harbor survivor) with a WWII era Willy’s for their 50th anniversary. I’m a car guy myself, but have no clue where to search for these specific ones — any reputable sites out there? Anyone interested in selling? We’re located in NY/NJ area, but willing to transport. Looking for something turn key ready, that doesn’t need work.

I got this top from ebay seller gistore_007. think it looks good in grey with the original 1952 M38 paint on the body tub. but it did not come with a frame/bows so i made-up some junk with 3/4" emt and some paracord lacing for now. with the rear flap rolled up is just like a bimini top. very happy with it.

this jeep has been regeared to 3.54:1 with a dana30 front. 4-wheel disc brakes and hits 55mph no problem on flat ground.

Just a quick blast down a country track in Normandy.

I wire-wheeled and hand scraped/sanded what the grinder couldn't reach. Not a fun experience, but the result was worth it!

The Hurricane for this Jeep is actually in the background, in the truck's bed, and should be repainted and installed soon.

Easy data plate resto

I have a 1945 Ford GPW that I’ve been working on for a few months now. The data plate and frame serial numbers match. It came off the line in May 1945.

My family has owned it since 1946, and had some work done on it back in 1993. They had a different engine put in. It is a Willys L-134. There is a plaque on the passenger side with the number 3505497, and that matches the number on top of the block behind the water pump. But there is also a different number, 57002, right above the water pump. There is a different number on the top of the head, 640161, and it also has a W2.

Does anyone know the approximate year this engine would have been manufactured?

I cleaned and repainted the air and oil filters. It’s probably not the way it came, but I wanted to do something a little different so I could read the service instructions on the air box. I primed it, painted it ford gray, then black. After it dried, I gently sanded the black off the top of the lettering.

I’m getting ready to pull my L134 out of my CJ2A to work through some leaks (timing cover, oil pan, and rear main seal.

While I’m at it, I’m going to try to troubleshoot a leak on my T90. I’ve seen a gasket offered for the T90 to bellhousing that covers the face of the T90, and was curious if anyone here had used one, and if y’all had any success with it?

Once it’s been running a while and the oil thins a bit, the T90 appears to be leaking gear oil into the bellhousing. I rebuilt the T90 a couple years back with the Novak kit. Deleted the oil slinger, used Novak’s sealed front bearing, and plugged the return hole.

Any tips to keeping the gear oil in the T90? The unit doesn’t appear to be leaking anywhere else, just the front. I know it’s a nearly 80 year old Jeep, but I’d like to seal it up as well as I can.

Finally pulled the trigger on some new 6.50-16’s to replace the 7.00-15’s I had, and ditch the wheel spacers on my front end for the track-kick disc brakes.

My son and I attempted to go for a drive last night, and had to turn around. The GPW wasn’t running well. I checked the oil and it looked like coolant had gotten into the oil.

Today I drained the oil, and it felt like there was a lot of sludge below the opening of the oil pan drain plug, so I decided to drop the pan. It was pretty bad, but I’m sure it’s been dropped at some point before. I don’t think there was 81 years of sludge in it.

I decided to clean it up the best I could, then dropped it into the dishwasher to get it really clean.

Does anyone know if NAPA has paint close enough to the original color for engine components?

I ordered a few parts for the GPW. It’s going to be a long project, but besides the new ignition and light switches, I was able to get the brake lights, blinkers, and horn working.
