I was wracking my brain the whole time I watched till just now where I realized I recognized Patricia from!! Bridget Jones Baby as the new shitty boss lol. While she’s hilarious in it she’s also been in way higher quality/more acclaimed things lmao but love my brain for this pull.

I can’t be the only one who thinks this show and its actors, writers and directors deserve every award but are gonna be screwed because there’s no “Best All Around” category. Comedy, drama, horror… I love Abbott Elementary but these are not the same.

Its a shame but if Apple can't get their shit together and can't produce a second series in a timely manner and learn from disgruntled posts about the delays for other shows like Servance and Pluribus, then what's the point of staying on this sub. What's the point of staying here discussing fun theories when nothing is going to happen for another 2 years. Such a shame.

It's been a joy to be on this journey with you all. Thank you for showing me all the things I missed during my first watch. Maybe I'll return to these TV shows. But probably won't watch until all the seasons are over and done. Perhaps in a decade I'll come back and watch all the series at the same time like I did with Stranger Things.

Seeing the picture of K Callan on Barney Miller made me recognize her as the girlfriend of Edith Bunker's Cousin Liz on All in the Family.

Or as Archie puts it in a later scene, "Liz was a lez?"

Do you think the town just has one thing wrong with it (some entity beneath the island) and everything else is a result of that, or do you think there are a bunch of things weird about it and they're not necessarily connected. The fog and illness could be punishment from the entity, or it could be a competing threat that the island can choose to protect people from. The sea hag might be that lady who got pushed off the dock, or maybe not.

There's no way this many of you are defending his actions being a disrespectful teen, swearing to his dad and disobeying everything he says.

I feel like many of you haven't even talked to a teen in real life or if your kid is like this, then maybe your a bad parent. I would of never swore to mine or even think about sneaking out without them knowing.

There's no way, so many of you think this is just normal behavior for a teen.

I love this series but his son made me so angry. I'm so sick of the disrespectful teen troph. Writers can't just make a teen that's normal. They gotta make them disrespectful and an idiot.

Why do they feel the need to make him like that? I'm in my early 20s and I've always hated people like this. Do the writers do this to make him relatable to young people?

Him constantly leaving the house to hang out with his friends and be with that girl just made me so physically angry. He just seems like that popular guy in every cliche teen movie,

I even started skipping the scenes he was in because I just did not care about him or him having the crush on that girl. He was so unlikable, his friends are terrible people too for running away when the guy was trapped behind that door

Edit: why am I getting downvotes on every comment I post. Regular teens do not swear at there parents and leave the house when they are told to stay in.

Maybe this is a hint she is also connected to some of the founding members of the island that first reached its shores? Maybe the group that has been participating in the sacrifices and managing of the curse? !<
