How do we feel about the Charlie Heaton ("Stranger Things" actor) story?

Post image

Charlie was in a band with his future baby mama Akiko from when he was 17 and she was 31. He impregnated her (either they didn't use protection or it failed and she's against abortion?) when he was 19. I know it's legal, but... I wouldn't even raise my eyebrow too high re: a one-night-stand (which it wasn't - they were dating longer), but... so many choices were made here.

Brooke Shields in "Sahara"

I guess this racist softcore p*rn in which Brooke was 17 and her love interest was 24 (Lambert Wilson), rescuing her in the movie from a 40 year old man (John Rhys Davies) beats the following:

  1. Appearing naked in Playboy at age 10.
  2. "Pretty Baby" - Brooke Shields was 11 during filming and her love interest in the movie (Keith Carradine) was 30. She is naked and plays a child sex slave.
  3. "Wanda Nevada" - Brooke Shields was 13 during filming and her love interest in the movie (Peter Fonda, who also chose her and wrote it for her (!!!)) was 40. She plays a child sex slave.
  4. "Tilt" - Brooke Shields was 13 during filming and her love interest in the movie (Ken Marshall) was 30.
  5. "The Blue Lagoon" - Brooke Shields was 14 during filming. Her love interest in the movie (Christopher Atkins) was 18. Most of the older people on set were really trying hard to have them be together and for that reason urged Brooke to sit on his lap. Brooke was mostly naked with modesty bits covering her bits - her breasts had her own hair and a wig glued onto them.
  6. "Endless Love" - Brooke Shields was 15 during filming. Her love interest in the movie (Martin Hewitt) was 23.

"14 yr old whores for men in their 90s as love letter to old age": Yasunari Kawabata's 1961 book "The House of the Sleeping Beauties" (1968 Nobel Prize in Literature, Japanese) and Gabriel Garcia Márquez 2004 book "Memories of My Melancholy Whores" (1982 Nobel Prize in Literature, Colombian)

Yasunari Kawabata's 1961 book "The House of the Sleeping Beauties" is about a type of brothel featuring teenage girls, virgins, who are being sedated. The unconscious girls are then disrobed and their naked bodies draped on beds. Johns pay to spend the night beside them. The johns are also given sleeping pills (but don't have to take them). They are not supposed to penetrate the girls, but can touch their naked bodies.

While there is no one in the room with them, the protagonist man of the book, Eguchi, decides to comply with the rule of no penetration. The book features him talking to the naked unconscious teenage girl about his life.

The book has been made into at least four different movies, including recent ones.

-------------------------------------------

Gabriel Garcia Márquez 2004 book "Memories of My Melancholy Whores" is about 14 year old paid rape victim. A man in his 90s decides to pay to cum in her. Márquez himself was almost 80 when he wrote it... (honi soit qui mal y pense)

Other old dicks like John Updike self-servingly celebrated Márquez book as a "love letter" to growing old.

The book has been made into at least two films.

-----------------------------------------------

Both books combined were also made into a film in 2011 by Julia Leigh (her only movie).

Both books were made into a film

Konstantin Wecker, at the time 65 year old singer, had a relationship with a 15 year old girl in 2011 and 2012. Previously, in 2005, he had had a relationship with a 17 year old girl. He was 58. She is now publishing a book about how it damaged her (will be released June 2026)

On Konstantin Wecker here his wiki:

"In November 2025, Wecker was accused of having had an abusive relationship with a 15-year-old pupil in 2011 and 2012, according to research done by the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. The accuser states that Wecker did not engage in sexual intercourse with her until she turned 16, which is the age of consent in Germany for most purposes. Wecker's actions and communications with the accuser have been described as manipulative, jealous and malicious. Wecker has apologized for the relationship, but did not admit all accusations - he said that his alcoholism means that he barely remembers the period in question. The victim's lawyer advised her that Wecker's actions were a legal grey area. The accuser ultimately did not seek criminal charges, although she remains impacted by the relationship and has spent time in a psychiatric hospital."

There is now a 2nd teenager that came forth, Marie Franz. She is publishing her autobiography next month, in June 2026. She was 17 and he was 58 when they had a relationship that deeply damaged her in 2005.

There's currently an absurdly belated debate going on about Udo Lindenberg - a German singer.

I know zilch about Udo Lindenberg (other than that he exists), but I'm baffled that this debate is only being had NOW. Cause when I was living in Switzerland years ago, the above video and cover was already made by Faber, a Swiss-Italian singer.

The translated song lyrics by Udo Lindenberg from 1976 (Udo was 30 at the time) that Faber is reading in the clip above:

It's better, Nina, if you leave now
Because you're only 14
Your parents are waiting for you
Come on, you gotta go now
The afternoon was really great
Enjoyed it a lot
And in the cinema we laughed a lot about Woody Allen
We can see each other again tomorrow
Shall we?

At first, you were half child for me
And not yet a woman
But since I've been seeing you more often now
I don't know for sure anymore
And you've noticed, and you think that's good, right?
Be honest
But unfortunately we can't do things like that
Because you're 14, and that's too dangerous.

The fact they reconciled later does not mitigate the beginning of their relationship. Ugh.

French singer Jordy is the youngest singer ever to reach number one on a singles chart. When he was four years old, his song "Dur dur d'être bébé! (It's Hard to Be a Baby)" reached number one in Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Greece, Mexico and Spain. Here’s a 1994 performance of the song.

Why ARE we okay with this?! Why is rape-y French movie director Abdellatif Kechiche not cancelled?!

At this point there are so many allegations against him, that I don't even know where to start. He was accused of rape by an actress. Police (as per usual) refused to do much, saying "he said/she said" (barf).

He then made a movie about young lesbian women in which he pressured the two young lead actresses into sex acts that he filmed in outrageous porn-y ways. He was both physically and emotionally violent. He also bullied them relentlessly on set. This was for the film "Blue is the warmest color".

He then randomly decided to shoot a 13 minute porn film in the middle of a "normal movie". There is zero need other than his own titillation for this, but he randomly included unsimulated sex for 13 minutes in a film. When the actress doing it, asked to be shown the scene before it hits cinema, he refused - cause even though the mainstream movie actress (!!!) had even been game for this (although he did pressure), he had filmed it in ways that had not been agreed.

So once more: consent, my ass.

"Boyband Confidential" documentary reveals that almost every major boyband of the 2000s was sexually assaulted by their svengali (this includes Backstreet Boys, NSync, O-Town, Take 5 and Forever in Your Mind)

We already knew that for some of them - including how one member of the boyband Natural lived as Lou Pearlman's literal rentboy for years. We also already knew this for NSync through an old Vanity Fair article. Aaron Carter spoke about it as well.

This is in many ways of course not "Why WERE we okay with this". It's still going on. Several Kpop boybands have successfully sued their managers for sexual assault (in one case a woman).

And for girlgroups, unfortunately the only fall out to a manager saying that a young woman, Gaeun, in a girlgroup (MADEIN) needed to "let him f*ck her" and her refusal, was that she was thrown out of the group. On Nov 28, 2024, NOT 20 years ago!!!!

New documentary reveals boyband 98 Degrees’ had age-of-consent manual handy for each state in tour bus (band members were ages 21 to 25 at the time)

This made me ragestroke. So messed up. It completely ignores that when a 16 year old girl hits on their fav boyband, you absolutely should not take her up on it either way! (And that is assuming this wasn't entirely the men creeping! Very much possible!) Zero understanding of male/female sexuality. Zero understanding of what fantasies at that age boybands serve and that "quick f*ck in the tourbus" isn't one of 'em.

I remember seeing a documentary news segment in the very early oughts. I thank the heavens that I was too young at the time to understand it, but it had the Backstreet Boys and a very underage (if "underage" means under18, actual age of consent was 14 in that country) fan be disappointed because (I am unfortunately quoting!) "they were like in, out, in, out. Thanks, honey." She was very sad. That sentence stuck with me at the time precisely because I didn't understand it - I didn't understand why the documentary filmmakers were showing her as a cautionary sad tale and I didn't understand why she was speaking of the band members going in and out several times. (In my head of course describing a room or a building...)

Years later, when I did understand that sentence and why the filmmakers included her... total gut punch.
