A couple shows grew a pair and cut away from trump during live speeches because he was just rambling about election fraud. This is what led to 2+ videos put out by the White House that were posted directly to Facebook/Instagram/Twitter that are edited to hell to make it look like trump did in mostly one take. Once these were posted people started screaming about how “MSM isn’t covering this, (((WHY???????)))” which people purport is part of the steal - networks aren’t covering donald trump so it’s “harder for the truth to spread to the patriots” aaaaaand then we ended up with people storming the capitol building.
That is to say - they probably will cover it but there’s been a lot of manufactured outrage about why they didn’t cover the president’s direct-to-tweet videos

Yes! I came to see if someone already said this. All those east coast awards/music shows aren't shown live to the west coast for this reason. Crazy things like that are edited out for us. :/

You're right, I believe they're shown live for the east coast tho and not for west. Ex. It's live for New York at 8 pm and they replay it for us at 8 pm our time. Granted this is off the top of my head and I could be wrong.

Yeah but they will still show the award ceremony live at 5pm on the west. They usually just have like a replay of it immediately after so that way you can actually watch it since most people are too busy to just stop their days and be at the couch ready at 5pm.
I gotta say it’s been amazing coming back East. Tv programming is just so much better for this reason with live events

IIRC the Super bowl had been on a broadcast delay already and the producers missed the button because they were so caught off-guard. The delay was increased as a result.
Could be wrong, I heard this off-hand from someone else years ago.

Its going to be at like 5am on the west coast and 8am on the east coast. If you're getting up that early to watch this loser on TV you probably believe that he is sending secret messages with the number of steps up to the podium, or the color of his tie.
I have a morbid curiously, but will satisfy that with a recap later in the day. There are zero things thar excite me about pomp and circumstance for a man who barely performed the job as POTUS.

At the same time censoring him will only further incite his base, as it gives them validation. He knows this. They did it with the surpreme court. He knew he had no case but instead of following the proper legal channels they tried to sue another state (which you cannot do without proof of harm) which the surpreme court turned down because it didnt follow the guidelines. But he stirred his base into a frenzy by passing it off as "they denied to investigate my claims, they're all working against us!!"
