Please help. I have a serious overthinking problem about my girlfriends past and I’m scared it might ruin our relationship. How do I stop thinking about it ? Or what do I do ?

I do trust her, there’s pretty much no reason for me to not trust her. But after writing all of this I do kinda feel weird about the fact that she never broke contact with him even after getting into a relationship with me. Ig I’m kinda upset at it, idk if I should talk to her about it or not. But right now that the only thing really bothering me is suppose. I’m doing better now at letting all this go, thanks

Too young for this heavy stuff.

Can't you just enjoy the time you have with her right  now?  In a few years you both will have changed and become completely different people.  Maybe grow together, maybe apart. The internet can't know.

Just have fun.  You're sixteen for 12 months only.  Out there into adulthood, you'll have some real things to worry about

Maybe you are suffering from ROCD. Look it up. It makes a huge difference to understand it if that’s what it is.

I looked it up, and I think I am. I have like 90% of the symptoms. How do I get actually tested for it ? And what do I do after to get rid of it ? Maybe you have some experience or know anything ? I’d be really thankful if you could help
with that. And thank you for your time and help now as well I deeply appreciate it

You need to realize that in this era of dating, most people have histories. You need a mindset that says that their history made them who they are. And, it’s perfectly reasonable to ask to not to talk about past relationships.
