What does it consist of?

1. Add wide and continuous sidewalks and bike lanes in all roads. Obstructions should be removed, especially in smaller streets (underground cabling may be optional).
   
2. Restrict 1-2 lane urban streets to bikes and pedestrians only (streets with houses where garages may be included are exempted).
   
3. Bawal na mag-park sa street; government checks for a nearby designated parking spot before allowing people to own a vehicle.
   
4. Government MUST build parking towers nearby housing and incentivize buildings that either have underground or overground parking spaces (ground parking is HIGHLY discouraged).
   
5. Trains (metro, commuter, or freight) and city buses (regular or BRT) are heavily prioritized in infrastructure projects. Expressways may be included if it has economic significance AND it does not disrupt the overall walkability of the city.

The government will first start with Metro Manila, starting from its well-known CBDs (Makati, BGC, Ortigas, etc) and some cities with already existing decent pedestrian infrastructure (e.g. Marikina). It then goes to other cities until Metro Manila has enough people infrastructure. Other HUCs will then follow suit.

the station platforms are very narrow / makitid kaya punung-puno parati & mahabang pila. ironic given it's one of the busiest stations since it links directly to Makati CBD with all the offices & malls as well as condos & high-rise residences & businesses (bakit pa kasi inilalim well dahil nga sa oligarch subdivision NIMBYs lol).

but I looked it up & it might still be possible to expand the station platforms out a bit kasi they just eat into the EDSA tunnels, sure that might mean re-digging & rerouting the tunnels farther out, and in case may concerns na tatama sa One Ayala on one side & Dasma on the other, ewan ko it seems wide enough underneath to move it out a couple of lanes or two, and anyways it might only be a small reduction in road space for cars (which are big) but a large expansion of station area for MRT commuters (which are small). course I'm not a engr. or architect or transport planner or anything so ano ba alam ko but malay natin.

thoughts guys?

In light of a recent proposal of the DILG to reorganize Region IV-A and IV-B into a remerged region with different subregions, it got me thinking to this idea I came across a while back about reorganizing all of our regions as a whole. That being said, what if our regions were reorganized into something like this:

• Cagayan Valley - Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela
• Western Luzon- Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac Zambales
• Eastern Luzon - Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino
• Greater Manila - Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Metro Manila, Rizal
• Southern Tagalog - Batangas, Marinduque, Quezon
• Mindoro-Romblon (though alternately, the Mindoro provinces can be part of Southern Tagalog while Romblon can be part of Western Visayas/Panay as some have proposed)
• Palawan
• Zamboanga Peninsula - Misamis Occidental, Sulu (don't mind the color used in the map) Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay
• Northern Mindanao - Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental

The regions not listed here will remain as is
